Clans on 2005
when the clans will start ? on 2005?
Kitten wake up ... i started to believe others opinions... you are too slow to admin a tournement... i dont see any reason for delay .... normaly divisions must start but we dont have even clans !!! What you think for, people will continue to play regular toh games? or shiitfest for 10 months? Oh goB i cant believe if u need volonteer let us know but i cant see any reason for delay....
FORGET about graphics , pictures or other details give us a clan tournie... i think i have rights to critice you kitten regarding my most addict player in toh this season ... clans must start immediatly... look at WW ... they are great.. GREAT... tons of subtournements ... its a shame to see toh in this situation...
p.s. btw i dont like your manner to won about maps... its not your maps , you dont have any right for these maps... its jb, haile, salamander, alexkillers etc... maps...

OK, first of all, everyone needs to get off Kitten's tail. She is not the one that was in charge of setting clans up, I AM. So if you have a beef with someone over the delays, it should be me! I have more experience with clans so I was the one that volunteered to get it all set up. Originally Chubby was helping me, and him going offline set me back a little bit. And so did my husband being gone for 2.5 months, I've been a bit distracted. On top of that I have asked for input from no less then 20 veterans and have gotten a lot of input, but nothing in the way of progression to the next stage except from one person, Attila. (Thanks Atty) If those of you that complained above in this thread would kindly check your email (you should have one from me  ) and RESPOND it would be much appreciated and would further get us to our goal of an October 15th launch date. Why wait until the 15th? because I am going on vacation from the 9th-14th to see my husband, whom I haven't seen in 5 weeks, so I think I'm deserving.

LOL i write tons idea and emailed to you raven... i emailed 2 times and i wanted and offered help becus im not on these 20 players list, you mailed me later... Its not only attila,i send too YOU check your email... i remember i send you some ideas to balance clans etc.. dont tell me you didnt received them.

Check your email Hamsi, and really look at it. You will find that not only did I receive your emails, I used your ideas!! What I meant by ideas that I got from Attila and no one else was ideas for balanced clan upgrades. These I got only from Attila and well actually AndiAngelSlayer. It was those upgrades that I have been hung up on. I have repeatedly stated that I needed help with them because I don't have the advanced player experience needed (something I OPENLY admit).

I have no ideas, coz I wont play clans...general tourney is enough for me.
Its just funny....post like this, wheres all the hamsi assassination replies? the kitten bashing, the general whining?
Just too damn quiet, like mah...look at the mapmasters games....zzzzzzz least I got mine played, after 4 saves and diametrically opposed time zones

ww tribe is not balanced and there are huge differences between tribes... i think toh clans will be great i have high hopes.. btw rychen this topic created when i was full drunk... i even dont remember i played with frank lol...

some ideas about clans
As clan rules are not set in stone yet, i have some considerations about it.
Haile pointed out above the obious thing now - tribes are major team champoinship for now. So if clans wanna to compete with tribes, clans should to bring forth something new as well as to avoid drawback of current tribes.
Firstly, verrrrry carefully considered bonus system. Currently many dudes in tribes have different bonuses, and that, in my opinion, really sux. I dunno how much somebody should underestime opponent, if s/he agrees to play against bonuses like Titans Curiass. Even more, if clan games will count for main tourney, i want to see the person who will agree to play the game against somebody like Saint or Hamsi or any other very strong player, who will have some (even if small) additional bonus.
so my proposal here is either to make bonuses really minor, or to guarantee that everyone should have almost same bonuses. May be good solution would be to develop bonus system for clan wars, but to avoid one for regular clan games.
Secondly, simplicity of rules. Kuma showed me some raw scetch of clans rules, which seemed pretty complicate. The more complicated something is, less ppl will participate in it. If clans will have only few rules about who can join clans and what is the point counting system of clans, this tourney will get much more attention then complicated system of restrictions/bonuses.
Thirdly, relations between random map players and fixed map players. If the clan wars will go on as a big serie of 1v1, who will determine what map to play and how it will be done (eg. game between Kuma and Stuff - one play only randoms, another - fixed maps)?
But, of course, i'm longing for clans and, as well as Hamsi, i hope that this will be good tourney.

ie: remember almoust every tournament done..
there were at least 2 clans very very powerfull
and the rest..." nobody counts 'em"
my ideea is :
do the number of clans
after that, set leaders ( from vets because they are 90% very good and skilled players)
make a second leader who has to be too a good player
that way each clan has at least 2 good /very good players who can help the clan itself
the rest of the players of the clan may be randomlly or however they choose
that was my 2 cents

this problem already solved 75 medal points per clan is limit... for example whats your best medal? black dragon.. u are 30 points.. badboxa is 40 points because he got azure etc.. wyvern medal is 10 point wyvern monach 15 bone dragon 20 ghost 25 . its prestige points we use... and every clan points limit is 75... voila balance

dont they say that true emotion comes out when intoxicated?
its too easy to put your statement down to "i was full drunk"... its a nice excuse to renege on your staements
