I haven't, but I know AstralWizard made three or four HOMM1 maps, so it should be possible, and probably not too hard ... have you looked for an editor for HOMM1? What did you find?

The problem is that I'm one of the creators of polish HoMM site http://heroes.net.pl and I'm responsible for submitting HoMM I and HoMM II maps in Crypt of Map http://kryptamap.heroes.net.pl and I've submitted all HoMM I maps, which I've found on Internet.
So, if anyone create a map for HoMM I please contact with me

One thing a lot of westerners feel strongly about is that you should get their permission before putting their map on your website. Not all of them - but many of them.
Neither MapHaven nor Celestial Heavens (sites with western administrators) will post maps without the owner's consent - the map maker themself must submit the map to the site! (Maps imported to MapHaven from AstralWizard are done somewhat differently. We still try to reach the mapmaker regarding the move.)
As a mapmaker I don't like it when I find that some site I've never heard of is carrying one or more of my maps. I only ever gave AstralWizard (and MapHaven) permission to post them.
I think in general you should email the maker of a HOMM1 map before posting it on your site.

I also send a e-mail to a mapmaker, to ask him if he agree for submitting his maps. But when there is no e-mail address, or e-mail address in not actual what I have to do??
Most of HoMM I and HoMM II mapmapkers, are not playing heroes now, and it's really difficult to find them on Internet. (They create that maps more than 6 years ago).
And if anyone who made map submitted on kryptamap.heroes.net.pl will contact with me and tell me to delete his map from there I will do it - his the boss.
So maybe if you know actual e-mail adressess of mapmakers whose maps I've submitted please tell me and I will contact with them.
