3: Grand elves, or Cerebri?
4: Vampire lords or Crusaders or Greater Basilisks

I would like an army with Kentaur captains, Marksmen, Grand elves, Vampire Lords (or greater basilisks), Mighty Gorgons, Naga queens and Archangels.

On HoMM3 my favorite was peasants and a skeleton transformer  .
Coupled with an upgrade fort (forget the name of the dwelling) you could have a large free force of upgraded skele's .

I find ppls selection a bit disturbing, with the obvious lack of shooter units.
my selection would be smth like:
1. Centaur Captains
2. Storm Elementals
3. Grand Elves
4. Vampire Lords
5. Mighty Gorgons
6. Naga Queens
7. Arch Angels
considering exchanging the MGs with Thunderbirds though, to get an extra flying unit.

Level 1: Master Gremlins
Level 2: Marksmen
Level 3: Grand Elves
Level 4: Arch Magi
Level 5: Mintoure Kings
Level 6: Nagas
Level 7: Titans (Especially with archery skill)
Basically any ranged creature and even better with expert archery.

well there are manny ways by which one can classify the creatures in HOMM3 -health,damage,speed,cost effectivenessand so on but when so manny specials come into play you cannot just go into the map editor and compare let's say 20 elves vs.20 dragonflies,it's all about who get's the job done on the battlefield and can work together with your other units.
