I think the momentum will return once everyone gets the feel for posting on the fly again. The way it was back this spring where it was a page every 3 days.

Hey everyone. Just an update on me. I started a new job recently so this is the first time in about a week that I've just been able to sit back and go online.
I will be reading what I've missed in LHW and making a post.
As far as what was happening with my character last time I was here he discovered that RSF's meddleing with space/time and the has caused a rip creating an alternate town where an older town used to exist. Even better, the storm being caused by the wind crystal is tearing up the countryside. MM's group now has two obstacles in their way.
I'll check and see what's up as of recently.

That's cool. New jobs take a lot of time. Happened to me too. Don't worry about it though. I'm just doing my best to get interest back into the story. Getting everyone actively involved in a plot that can go in many directions, the key to a good RP.

I'm beginging to wonder MM, when I post do you continue from what I've posted? Or do you just re-write it so that it fit's your story? Or maybe my post was ignored by you perhaps? And why must my character sound like a brainless thug? Do I always have to yell at ya and sound so stupid? I'd prefer my character to be more shadowy...more kept to himself and strongly silent. Not so much as an idiot, show that I can do some fairly intellegent things. I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks

I wasn't trying to make your character sound like an idiot Gorman. I was merly giving your character some darker qualities. Until now all we knew about Gorman was that he was a dark angel whoose god is a god of thieves.
I took your character and added in his already built up hate of all of this stuff and had him release it. Now I never imangined Gorman to be stupid or even idiodic in any manner. To me, Gorman the dark angel is actually quite street smart. He knows how to get what he wants and seems as though he'd prefer not to have any know-it-all mage telling him what to do. He seems very coragous but not about to be the first to risk his life for somthing that doesn't involve getting more money or power. I think that is what attracted you to RSF's plot in the first place. You just never seemed to fit the description of an actual angel. Just a guy whoose unfourtiante death stuck him in this situation so he is now dealing with it the best he can.
As for re-writing what you typed, I try to stay away from too much re-writing unless I'm doing a "from my characters point of view" situation. My last post was a continuation of your post. You ended with your battle against Tytan. I continued from there and started with your battle and than proceded with my post.
In responce to the too many npc's. I gladly took care of that by killing off Larac. I never intended him to stick around. And what better way to go than being crushed by a giant club leaving your bloddy body smeared across a building.

As far as NPC's go, just because Dervol and Kaylianna are mages doesn't mean that MM and I can only write for them.
If anyone else wants to write something interesting for them then by all means go ahead - as long as you stay in character for them.

Well the story is a bit complicated at the moment, however if you feel up to some background reading, then check out the first post in this OOC thread back on page 1. There you will see a few character descriptions and a thread summary up through page 33 or so.

Since Dean's group and my group will be coming together again I am letting everyone know a little background on the Shroomerish Forest.
The Shroomerish Forest like most in this region is inky dark and hardly able to navigate through. However, one significant thing makes it different from all the others. The flora that lines the forest floor seems to all have a life of its own. Many travelers have said that they have even seen it move. It is for certain that the plants do in fact give off a glow at night and during the day the large fuzzy mushrooms shoot out a puffy blast that can render somone paralized or even poisened depending on which species it is.
The animals that live there are few and unknown. Some say they have evolved to better adapt themselves to the enviroment. The dangers are many and the choices are few. To find the Wind Crystal and it's partner weapon the Staff of the Clouds we must travel through this deadly forest. Are YOU up to it?
