Problem with being able to play a map
I made a XL heroes IV map and when I went to finally play it, it says: file waterworld bad, and then fails to load the map. There's no way I can check the entire thing and try to find out what's wrong. Is there anything I can do? Are there some things that are common that I could easily check? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

See that you're patched to version 3.0 first, and that may solve the problem. Most likely it's due to having the Emerald longbow and/or the Nomad Blackbow enabled and having a random major artifact on the map at the same time. It's a known bug from a long time ago. Just disable those bows and save a version, then see if the map loads.

Whew! Thanks a lot. That was the problem, it would have taken me years to narrow it down to that.
Now who wants to play it!? lol
