besides, very hard to find a true player talent that is a good mapmaker too , which can lead to almost prefect maps, and i think if someone wants to make a popular map , to have the expected impact, and get satisfaction, must hear to any suggestions , filtered of curse by his conception and style, but , im forced to repeat, he MUST know how to listen .
You want to see maps , that are called maps, but in fact there are just an accidental save of an untitled document opend with heroes editor ? don't force me to give you examples, maybe will be embarrasing, for some of us.
you should be more careful when throw heavy words like that.
editing ( the way is called cheat) means that some modifications made without warning the opponent, NOT when they are mutually agreed, as i said in a previous post.
maximus, or whatever, reconsider your position.

Hiya RychenRoller, fellow bowler. Thanks for the Congrats. I too was suprised to not get a visit from the 10 Pin Devil.
Back to Topic.........
I will admit in the grand scheme of things the modification didnt end the world and the sky didnt fall. But I was mainly upset at the principle. Before I made Lost in Space and DangerZone, there were 70 maps posted on TOH and virtually ALL of them were the same basic strategy and layouts and week 4 maps. Alot of people like the faster game, and thats kewl. But there are some that like little longer more involved more indepth games. ( I come from being H3 Random XL games.) So I made a couple DIFFERENT style maps. And banned certain things specific to the planned strategy and layout of the maps. So now TOH has a couple maps that offer a different style. But when people change them to play the same as the other 70 maps ( week 4) then it loses its uniqueness and becomes just another fast game.
So where is the integrety of the map? When I look at John Doe's profile and see he played DangerZone 20 times, and he claims to have won 18 times.... did he find a way to master the map as it was made? Did he alter it and change the way it was intended to play? Which way is he axcelling on it... I mean I suck on PS, but I am atleast making an effort to learn the map as it is, and play it that way. Would it count as much if I took diplo out and made guards 4 times bigger and turned it into a week 8 map and then I started winning on it or playing it more? It wouldnt be PS anymore. I guess bottom line, my thinking is.. if you like DangerZone then spend the time to play it as it is. If the extra 3 weeks of game time isnt worth it then, go knock of 2 PowerSpot games and report some quick points.
I am over it now and moving on. But still confused if I should still post the 1.5 update I had ready? Seems silly if people gonna not use the update or change it? Thoughts?

so......where is the beef ?I donno is it posible to change DZ for fast playing.but if it was changed somehow then it was ruined

why did u removed pathfff skill?if u would put an altar near town problems would be solved

I think you missed that Jinxer noted he has already asked Vesivius if it was okay for people to change a map. The answer was and ALWAYS has been that as long as players agree on a map they can play however they like. If they edit the map then that is fine.
What gets a person booted is editing a map to their advantage and not letting their opponent know about it. This is why we have a maps page, so as to keep anyone from making a mistake of using an edited map.
If someone uses an edited map without telling their opponent, then that maybe be grounds for cheating depending on the situation.

So maybe (my suggestion);
If you dont like the map:
1. Ask the creator if he would -plz- change it to your likings.. Maybe if there are enuff ppl, he will?
2. create a new one from it, with a new name..
but
Ask if you are allowed
&
Be sure to give credits to the original map maker
