Help required.

I'd love to play Heroes 3 & 4 online. I'm a fairly decent player, with plently of lan and hotseat experience - so should be able to give someone a good game. Where do I start?

For instance - what game version(s)do most players use?

On MSN zone, they play Heroes 3.
Versions: 1.4 or 3.2 or 4.0

For heroes 4 u have to visit gamespy (mot my game, so no more details..)

For Heroes 4 we use 3.0 or 3.42 (this is a mod for balancing the game) -  http://www.strategyplanet.com/homm/equilibris/eng/news.html - this is their website
