Suggestions for good maps, anyone?
I just wanted to see if anyone could recommend some maps to me. I have been playing HOMM for some years now, and I am seriously tired of playing the same old maps. Personally I like maps to be as large as possible. When I ocassionally choose to play HOMM, that industry normally craves little short of 50 hours of gameplay. I therefore need to find some new maps.
Thousands of times over I have been disappointed by idioitic flaws in otherwise excellent maps. So, if anyone can recommend maps of the following kind to me, I would be ever grateful:
X-large map, at least 6 (or preferably 8 players)
Mulitiplayer optional
High level of diffiiculty, starting off at scratch
Multiple castles to be conquered within the starting weeks
Detailed and varied landscape with great possibilities where nothing comes free. Dragon Utopias, Quests etc, may artifacts...
To give a hint of my preferences, I can safely say that "Battle of Glory" is without doubt the best map I have ever played... No, does anyone know of any such map? I sure as hell can't find them at Maphaven or any of the maps-pages in here....
