The story of Naga in the Mythology(a beautiful tale)
It's not an orginal story...I read this from the Mythology story book..
Long long ago,there was a country near the @#% Moutain(Sorry,I forgot the name of the mountain,bcause I read this story long ago...it's in Asia maybe...)The King had a daughter,who was the most beautiful girl and the best dancer in the Kingdom.Her long-straight hair was like the black silk,her eyes were bright,and her skin was like the ice.Her name was Naga.
Princess Naga was loved by all the people in the kingdom.When her 17 years birthday came,her father held a Big birthday party and invited many guests.At the party,Naga gave a dance,and All the guests were attracted,especially the Prince from the nearby country.He lost his heart to Naga and asked her to marry him at the party.Naga's attacted by his good-look and demeanour,so she accepted him.They'er both very happy and decided to get marry as soon as possible.
The wedding day had come,Naga dressed up as a nymph,and went to the prince's country with a large group of guardians.Her prince had been waiting for long.The prince's country was beside a long and large river,when they passed by the river,Naga suddenly felt thirsty.So the group stopped to have a rest,then Naga could drink some water.Under the river,lived a demon,he saw Naga drinking water from the river and was shaken by her beauty.The demon swam quietly to the bank and pulled Naga into the water bfore she could call for help.
After a while,the group finished their rest and was going to move on.However,they could no longer find their princess,all the people were sad but nobody knew what to do,because Princess Naga seemed to have disappeared in the air.When the prince heard about this,his heart was broken,but there's nothing he could do.The prince locked himself in his bedroom and cried for many days,for his lost love.
And under the river,the demon asked Naga to marry him,again and again,but Naga refused him everytime,the one she loved was her prince.In the end,the demon got angry,he turned Naga into half-snake-half-human being and threw her into the prison under th river,that Naga could never see her lover again.
Many years had past,the prince had become the King of his country,and he married another princess(since he could no longer see his Naga).His son was now 17,he was a brave and warm-hearted boy who loved riding and hunting.Oneday,when the young prince's riding past the river beside his country,he heard a woman singing,the song's graceful but sad.To his surprise,the voice was from under the water.The young prince tied his horse to a tree near the river,and dived into the water.He went deeper and deeper ,in the end he saw Naga,who was singing sadly in the jail.The young prince decided to help the poor Naga.He hid under the demon 's ded,when the demon came back to his bedroom,the prince immediately jumped out from under the bed and cut the demon into two pieces with his sword.
Naga was extricated,however,she was not going back to her lover again,because she's now half-snaked and he had already married another princess(the young prince's mother).Naga asked the young prince not to tell his father about this and then sent him back to the river bank.
Naga stayed in the river and became the Queen under water.She ruled all the living things in the water and sometimes when she thought of her lover and their love,she would dance under the river.And when Naga's dancing,the water of the river rose.This meant a harvest to the pople live near the river,as the water irrigatd the farmlands,and after ebb,plenty of fish were left on the river bank.It brought richness to the country.When the King(Naga's lovr)saw this,he thought that it's from the God,but he never knew that it's in fact brought by the yearn from his Princess Naga.
