Hmmm

I just think they just had invented it anyway... DUH he was first he lived earlier.... But some smarthead from these days should inveted that already.. Tolkien is not master of the games.. in his time their weren't any games... many games use his creatures.. but many use mytology aswel.. So i think i would not mind if if their weren't any elves or orcs.. I can't like those human like creatures... I like mythology more.. End of story FOR The 10000 time!

Back to the original question.....

I need a map of middleearth! Tolkien's world!
I  know that one from here, are making one!
Please tell me where I can download it!!!!!!!

Not sure if you need a HOMM map, or one to help make your own. Anyhow, if it's Middle Earth maps you want, try this link:

http://www.glyphweb.com/arda/default.htm

There's lots there that should interest you, even if the maps aren't what you wanted.

Hope it helps.

And it shows a incredible amount of ignorance to hate something you know nothing about.  Example:  What are the names of the three Lord of the Rings books?  Bet you can't answer it.

please let me answer that...

Hobbit is NOT a part of the trilogy (just a prologue)

The parts of the trilogy are:

The fellowship of the ring
The two towers
The return of the king
____________
"ana:l nathrakh, u:rth va:s bethud, dokhje:l djenve"

Ooooh, I told myself I wouldn't weigh in on the T******n debate, but when I say somebody mention the D&D thing, I couldn't resist.  I've seen the orginal D&D pamphlets (when it was still more similar to a wargame than a role-playing game).  Might interest everybody to know that Halflings were originally called (ready for this) Hobbits.  That was, of course, before the copyright police came down on them like a ton of bricks.  So yes, D&D was hugely influenced by Mr. T.  M&M and M&M2 were exactly like D&D, right down to the "+1" "+2" magic weapon system (oh god, am I admitting that I'm old enough to have played those?).  So I think I'm going to have to take the side of "Most of the conventions in Fantasy gaming/writing can be traced back to Tolkien."  Does that mean that he did it all?  No, but the guy did some pretty groundbreaking stuff.  (Plus, Terry Pratchett agrees with me, if anybody can find the interview where he talks about how much Tolkien influenced him and other fantasy writers, so I can site precedent!)

Incubus why the hell did you even enter the thread about tolkien anyway we all know you hate it so why bother saying for the 10000th  time "i think tolkien sucks hes a granpa i make up my own fantasy in my head"

YEAH YEAH whatever we have heard it all before, so if someone starts talking about tolkien (which by the way we still know you hate ok?) cant you just not enter the conversation. Its called middle earth what did you expect to find here?

...that Ash NIR guy should learn a thing or two about Tolkien...

there is no trilogy... the Lord of the Rings is actually one story, written in six books, published in three volumes...

Thank you everybody who has supported Tolkien and who has given me some links. I think this is wroten long time ago and I think it's just cool to read now!

I'm not a big Tolkien fan, because "I have only wrote The Hobbit and 3/4 of the first book"!

I haven't seen the film because I'm too lazy but in saturday I must! I have hit myself many times because I'm so lazy. Especially when it's counting lord of The Rings!

Thank you again! And, yeah, I was back and then I disappared..The same thing happens now I guess..*LoL*..

Ok!

There are some in MapHaven.
Try M-Earth or MdEarth or Middle Earth. They should give you results. But I´m warning you, those maps suck!
