Being Allies

I apologize up front that is not about the Tournament of Honor, but I need some answers.

My son and I have been playing via the Internet Heroes of Might and Magic IV.

My question is this:  How can we be allies against the computer players when we are playing?  Is it even possible?

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

You can, all you need to do is edit the map and set yourself and your son (the colors you want) to be allies.

If you don't already know how to do that, we'll gladly help you

open the map editor, open the map which you want to edit (had to have at least 3 players), click on the CAMPAIGN in the menu on the top, then under campaign click on MAP PROPERTIES, then click on TEAMS, click on enable teams, click on 2, then under number of teams click on 2 and then under team assingment choose the colors which you want to be allied and click them as 2nd team, then clik OK, save the map (file, save) and you should be ready to go

Thanks

Thank you for your help.  I did exactly what you said and it works like a charm!  Check this out, a couple weeks ago I was trying to find somewhere to buy the expansion of HOMM IV, Winds of War.  Well, to make a long story short, I eventually found it on Amazon.com.  They had a number of places it could be purchased from.  I found a place there where I bought it, a brand new, in the box game, for or $8.99.  All the other places that had it for sale want $40 or more.  What a deal!

Thanks again for your help.
