Need help with making a SCRIPT. Map masters please read.
I need to make an update to one of my maps and I need help with making a script that prevents any hero from passing, but lets creatures go thru, until a certain day then any hero can pass after that point.

easiest way :
Quest gate:
Requirements ---> less than
(total number of heroes in the army < 1)
will allow only creatures to pass
then you can add a time bomb to blow up the gate at the time you want.
I think there is another option, a bit more complicated without deleting the gate, didn't try it yet, but if re not pleased with first variant , i will try the other, but no time right now, later.

jinxer you need to make your questions harder in the future.. even non-mapmakers can answer your questions correctly

and.. i think it would be cool if you had a quest gate somewhere on map (some crucial area) that let you pass only on day x of each week.. would mean you would have to spend a whole week on one side or the other of the gate.. could be cool if done right maybe.. i dunno tho, no one ever likes my ideas, i might just be poisioning your mind jinxer

Camel, I notice you claim the answer is soooo easy, however you didnt bother to post the answer.
BTW, I figured a way out myself. And since its obvious you dont know Camel, just give me a hollar and I will teach you.

wow.. are you holding some sort of racial grudge against romanians that i dont know about jinxer?  If you would open your eyes (yes, i know that is not something you do often) and read Teacher's post (the one right above mine, yes ) he gave you the answer

He gave " AN " answer, not the one I was looking for, altho I appreciate that he actually attempted to help me instead of babbling like someone else.
I solved the problem with a difference solution that had similar outcome, but not with a quest gate.
So put that in your pipe and smoke it.

and 2nd : youre template will be only for homm4 maps or you're thinking of creating one for homm3 maps?

@ Wanderer... No the update I am working on is for one of my Heroes 4 maps. It just needed some tweaking and balancing. I am sorry to say that I have moved on from heroes 3. I made several maps for Heroes 3. But even then, after 4 years all those fixed maps got played to death so much there wasnt any fun left in them, since they were all memorized and patternized etc. Random XL maps was the only fun map left to play in H3. Anyways, thanks for your interest.
