Who will win Euro 2004?
I fancy Spain's chances. Hosts Portugal might even be knocked out before the knock-out stages!
But the sad thing is there is a good possibility of either Spain or Portugal missing out of the quarter finals.
All thanks to Greece..
Maybe France, they look really strong coming from behind to beat England 2-1.
Italy? No, I don't fancy their chances. Germany? Don't write them off, they might win this thing.
I say Spain will win it, but who knows? If Portugal beats them, it's game over.
And I'll look really silly backing a team that didn't even make it pass the group stage!

I really wanted both Spain and Portugal to get through the group stage but Greece just ruined that hope. I am going to back Italy mainly because they are my team. Although they start almost every big event slowly they come back strong. With Francesco Totti out for 3 games for being an idiot i dont fancy our chances though, he is the play maker of the team. If they dont get into form and play properly they will be smashed by Sweeden. If they do get into form they will be very hard to beat!

I'm rooting for the Swedes, since this pisses the Danish off (They knocked Norway out of the qualification stages, those.... AARGH!  ).
But I think that Germany may do well, since none of the other big countries (except Holland) has impressed me with their playing yet.
But for so long: Heia Sverige!  (Translation: Go Sweden. Don't want any -QP for using the wrong language, do we? )

Sweden has impressed me most...honestly said...
As a german, i liked the way they played against the Netherlands, but i doubt we will win this tournament, coz we donīt have good attackers....and we wonīt have so much luck with our freekicks in every game..
But perhaps we reach the playoffs and then play every game 0-0 and then win by penalty...
But if we will end 2nd in group and sweden will end as 1st, they will face each other in quarterfinal...

I am for Germany or Sweden only because my country is not there. However I think that Germany is the best European country when it comes to soccer. I was really dissapointed in Italy, the way they played in 2002.

Hey im not sure but i think spain and portugal can both go through. If Portugal beats Spain, and Russia beats Greece. Then its Spain vs Greece on goal difference.
I would love to see a team like Italy win, but they would have to be pretty lucky, and with Totti gone, it will only be harder. People have talked about Sweden's top 3 strikers, and how good they are, but people also forget that Italy in my opinion (and a lot of others) has the greatest defence. Nesta, Cannavaro, Zanetti, Zambrotta, all suburb defenders. Italy may not have wow against denmark, but they didn't let any goals through either.
Germany hasn't really impressed me with what i saw of them the other night. If they are to win, they will need Ballack and Kahn playing their best football.
My final tip: France. No explantion needed

Big game 2night, Italy need this win. Portugal and Spain both cant get through. I dont think they both can... Totti out for 3 matches. By the time he comes back, i dont think Italy will still be in the comp!

OK may be wrong but...
I believe that both Spain and Portugal can both get through.
It works like this:
Greece loses to Russia
Portugal beats Spain
Ok. After this
Spain is 1 win 1 draw and 1 loss = 4 points
Portugal is 2 wins 1 loss = 6 points
Greece is 1 win 1 draw and 1 loss = 4 points
Russia is 1 win 2 losses = 3 points
So Portugal finishes top and Spain fights it out with Greece. Hopefully then Spain would have better goal difference and go through
But i don't think in form Greece is gonna lose to Russia
