i got the most amazing tactic to beat that guy, i used it on 2 month and it was so easy, from the last scenario i tought one of my heroes, fire magic expert and maid sure he had berserk spell, and with fire magic expert berserk has a very large area, which meant that all the time he's archers shot at he's champions and he's halbardiers, and vice versa and all i had to deal with was he's griphons and archangels, and some cursaders, it workd amazingly well i lost only half my army which was 7 times smaller then he's and it was my first try, i tell you get fire magic expert user, with berserk spell, and he is unbeatable  .

Just hope you get Berserk...you get a good chance...It's a v. good spell,especially in your case! Use Blind too!

I did but I can't remember how.....it was about 4 years ago,can't remember nothing,just that I suffered average loses,think the garrison took more of my army then him..

Use dungeon heroes (from dungeon map)
in first dungeon scenario build up all 5 dungeons with level 5 mage guild before ending the scenario.. thus you get a GREAT chance that you will get berserk in one of them
also specialising in fire magic makes battle with kendal an easy job
to inrease chances for fire magic, maybe its best to recruit inferno hero and use him as your main in dungeon scenario

The problem is the Anti - magic garrison. There you can NEVER cast spells and there is a BIG chance to lose your army. Just as I did.
Can someone tell me a hint

At the first releases, that map was a pain. After a certain patch, it became easy as pie, they downgraded his forces by a mile. There is still a glitch in the game, if they didn't fix that since I last played that campain - the General will ALWAYS visit the resource generator near his castle in day one of each week, and will not be able to go home in the same day.

He is easy prey. Go for dungeon hero/troops and kick his A**...

I am not a proffesional, so I preffer to attack Steadwick on day 2, when he stays at the mill near his castle.

I just make a powerful enough army to beat the anti - magic garrisons and then enter his castle during day two (any week). I don't attack him every week!

blah, blah blah
now this is the easiest way
1. get a bunch of hired heroes
2. place the heroes so that they string away from steadwich and away from your main hero
3. let the gen attack all of the hired heroes and exhaust his Move Points
4. move your cursor on the city and double click it
ITS THAT SIMPLE!!!

hi
I am new in here and need help in this campaign. can't win it. I had completed the first two maps and chose heroes from "devilish plan". My main hero is solmyr which lvl is 8 as I remember. and I have also three other scouts. but still can't win campaign because of morgan gendal with tough skills and monsters.
please help me

FINALLY !!!
I played this mission many times, and finally finished it !! I got an idea from warmonger and captured rampart town in north-west. near the town was a spell hat (don't know the name exactly) and I took that with dungeon troops. then solmyr captured highcastle in middle of the map and defeat magic-garrison troops and head back to the town. Then I sacrifice one of my scouts, sent it to near arena. Then mr. kendal attacked, but didn't went back to his castle... and next turn, solmyr cast three times dimension door and went to empty steadwick and I ultimately finished the campaign! That was so tough in my opinion... thx for all tips guys !
now, back to the spoils of war...
