Well there is a poll of your favorite heroes 3 towns... maybe this is some kind of fan's consult  ? you can vote in the english version of the page and in the russian version too

Funny that Inferno received the least votes, yet it's so prominent in their announcement teasers.

Rampart woulda been my second choice. Then Inferno.
But Fortress is probably going to be left out so I'm steeling myself for it.

i always thought that the inferno demon factory strat was most interesting to play (probably the most unique strat ever seen in homm), second would be conflux. interesting that so few people seem to share the opinion.

Well I would have voted conflux had it been included in the poll.
Whether that's an indication that it's in or out of the game for definite is anyone's guess.
I'm betting out.

I voted Fortress too, simply because I thought it was teh outie and it was a really fun town to play every now and then.

Well, I don't see the reason of that poll, because I think all the towns of H3 were good. It would have been more difficult to answer "what is the worst town in H3". H4 was pauperised by exclusion of the fortress and compression of necro and inferno. The poll might be however an indication that they plan to leave something (or someone) out of the scheme.
Their misfortune is that the inferno (less desired) is the first to be released as preview.  Now they have to kick out another race. Just guessing, don't start with the "assumption" stuff...

INferno and Necro are my favourites. Voted Inferno. Though, you shouldnt consider how it was to play with them in homm3, since the playablility will be completely different in H5. Votde infrno.  @ gerdash

Would have voted Conflux, voted Castle instead. It's strange how many people vote for the Tower; I guess ranged attacks are pretty popular.
