Wasn't Witch Hunt a standard scenario? I might be wrong.
My favorite H2 campaign is probably the Roland campaign. Beating that hard mission where Lord Halton helps the Sorceress towns was sweet. Not to mention beating the Corlagon one.
i had a few...but id say one of the most interesting was pyramid. i played that for over a week before i finally figured out how to beat the blasted thing. it had like 3 town types of enemies..with each one being successively more powerful...the first 2 would whittle you down and then necro..which had 5 towns to start would just smash me. but there was this stupid pyramid...i knpt ignoring it...
turned out it contained the armageddon spell...armageddon and black dragons....a few strafing runs...oh yeah!! turned out to be the penultimate dishonorable tactic of homm3 later on ...WOO HOO!!
i think that was the hardest one to bust..except on the beach....which was a nightmare.
