Not enough activity; that is the biggest problem. A ToH subtournament needs at least 16 active players, which nowadays is tough to get.

That is not correct ves. The activity is high enough for almost any tourney of yours, cos if something interesting is started in toh, I think some of the ww players will test it out  I know I would worth a try, ww have np running 5 tournaments at the same time at least

You can say I hate half-finished tourneys, and it seems all to common nowadays. WW has some successful established subtourneys right now, but they are played by the same group who live their life on the zone. Its just not enough players to start up something. Only real recommendation can come by the members, as to what exactly they would want to play, and if there was a large enough consensus, I would start it. But each player has their opinion of what should be started, eg. The Hero, Might vs Magic, Speedeamon, Addicts, etc...

I think an addicts tournament would be most succesful  I personally would love a natives one though

I am talking about a real toh Sub tourney, not no floozy Kitten I want to taqke over every tournament little tourney.
I know Map masters was Motors Idea, but it was in Kittens tournament, I dont consider it Robs under Amandas rule.

There was about 8x the activity in H3 gaming than in H4, but when it came to subtournaments, eg. Clans, Caesar, the H4 players were more dedicated and active about it.

Can somebody please explain to me what is with the rankings this season. In the footman category there are many players who have had their games carried over from last season, but their scores reset.
Is this a mistake or something new in ToH.

Just the scores reset, Dodd. I read on the ToH Mainpage that a player's record, "maps played", "people played", and pretty much everything else, carries over from last season to this one.
It seems that the only thing changing are the "Wyvern Icons" and the scores reseting to 1000 points.

A mistake people wish they have not made.
I agree sometimes old time vets know what a tournament needs to keep it active, not no Kitty who wants to rule all the tournaments & eat power for breakfast, lunch & dinner
