Home-made Pics for H3 - the Resurrection
Hello, everybody…
The first thing that must have come to yer mind is why was the old thread closed and why did I create a new thread for members to post their pictures?
OK… the answer is pretty simple… as I reviewed the old thread, I decided to create a new thread where the members could post their own creatures. The old thread was already dead with Mitzah [ dunno, where he is now ], Daddy [ I heard he’s left for the official Ubisoft forum ] and the creator, RK (  ) not here anymore. The recent attempts to revive the thread weren’t successful and the thread itself was too full of one-liners, so I asked angelito if I could create a new thread where we could post new pictures [ and store the old ones ].
I am sorry if the creation of the new thread makes some problems for, but I think it is needed.
The second thing you may want to ask me is where will old pictures be stored?
Well, as I said, I asked angelito to close the thread only, not to delete it. However, I decided to store those pictures in this thread [ I would post links of images with working links only tho ]. The only thing that thread would be used for is that maybe somebody [ by saying somebody, I mean you, members ] would want to read the posts.
However, this thread will be clean [ I will try to constantly look after this thread ] and active [ or at least I hope to achieve this with the help of all of you  ]

Now, it is showtime!
As I promised in the other thread to post some new pics, I wasn’t lying. I actually made five of them and I am going to present them to you, right away
These five creatures [ I already added URL’s to the list, both large and small versions ] aren’t new creatures. They are simply re-designed, but it isn’t such an easy job, actually. These five creatures [ images to be shown ] have their stats and abilities written down below.
Let us begin:
Lich Warrior
Storyline:
These creatures were always here. They simply changed their weapon into sword and shield, because using the deadly staff was too boring - too powerful in their eyes.
Creature Statistics:
Level 5
Attack : ~18
Defence : ~10
Hit Points : ~70 HP
Abilities:
Undead
50% Curse
50% Poison
50% Magic Resistance
Dark Champion
Storyline:
The story of dark champions is not very awkward, but the way they came out to existence was very strange [ unique, so to say ].
Mainly, the dread knights [ their predecessors ] were known to be the best knights in the whole of Erathia. However, they were evil and they used their evil powers to destroy. Their horses, mostly known as nightmares, were their pride. Fast like the wind itself and tough as the toughest animals possible. They were roaming around, thinking how they hate the living, killing and destroying everything in their way. Many settlements were destroyed along the way to the central capital of the dead, the Necropolis.
However, one day, one of the dread knights went astray. That was strange, because they stayed together all the time, until one of them decided to break the law. The one I mentioned, went out to catch some fish in the silvery springs near the Rampart [ even tho he was undead he went to catch some fish - it seems as if he forgot he was dead ]. He did not think of the dangers the elves posed. They watched him as he passed the forest. But he seemed to be different from the others, with a mind, eager for adventures. His nightmare wasn’t even black.
Still, the elves were not merciful. As soon as he got to the lake, they loosened the string and shot. Three magical arrows, marked with strange white feathers, hit the chest of the nightmare. The knight gasped as its stallion fell down.
‘Oh why, why did you kill my horse, oh elves?’ said the kneeler in a low voice. He knelt on his left knee and turned his face to the elves. ‘I have heard you are tolerant, even for the beings of the dead, but I did not think you will act so rash…’
The elves moved a step back, their faces glowing with anger. They were furious - a being of the evil powers trespassed their lands!
But the knight was not looking at them anymore. He looked at his horse, grey as the ashes, as the stone.
Suddenly, he stood up and drew his sword.
‘You leave me no other choice, but to kill you all. I am not a toy in the hands of your Elf King…’
‘Who dares to speak of my name?’ a snake-like voice echoed from behind the elves. A tall elf with a crown of leaves stepped forward. ‘You ugly being, you don’t belong here.’
‘I do not, but I did not think you would be so furious creatures. And their king, I thought, would be wiser…’
‘You dare to call me stupid, dare you? Then, you must go back to the place where you belong!’
A green bolt struck the knight. He seemed to have been teleported somewhere, as no clothes were to be found lying on the dirt.
In fact, the knight was teleported… to the swamp lands.
The dread knight, who has become even more dreadful, roamed the marshes without any hope of quitting the immeasurable marshes. Suddenly, he saw a gorgon, beast of prey, eating poisonous plants. He took out his sharp sword and attacked the beast. A tough fight began, but it soon ended as the knight killed the creatures. But suddenly, to the knight’s surprise, a ghost of it has arisen. He seemed to be like the one he saw before, although dead.
Something has lightened its mind. He jumped onto the gorgon and urged the creature. With a loud “Moo!” the creature ran forward.
And the tale ends in this place. The dread knight and the gorgon became friends and started a new breed of warriors - the dark champions. Even deadlier than before…
Creature Statistics:
Level : 7
Attack : ~34
Defence : ~24
Hit Points : ~350 HP
Abilities:
Undead
30% Death Gaze
55% Curse
15% Death Blow
Sage
Storyline:
The story of these creatures was the shortest to be known and probably the dullest.
The Archmagi and Enchanters were always at a silent war. They disagreed which group has more power. They argued with them the whole time they could. There were many battles between them.
Until one day, without telling anybody, one enchanter left. Tropal was his name. He was young, but one of the wisest and most powerful among their ranks. He always argued with the Council, was always trying to prove that he is the best. They never accepted him. They did not regard him worth to be a member at the council.
So he left. He decided to go and sneak into the ancient chambers of the arch magi and steal some of their scrolls.
He broke in with a loud “Boom!”, but nobody was there at the moment. He went to the chambers and stole some scrolls. But suddenly, he took notice of an unused cloak at the corner. He did not want to take anymore things with him, but he wanted to have the robe so much. So he put it on, teleported his old robe outside, took the scrolls and left the premises.
The next day, he went back to the camp where he was staying. He read the scrolls and decided to make them cast magic when the correct word is said, so he’d be the only to be able to use them.
The story of sages ends here. Years pass and a new settlement is built where the camp stood once. And now, after many years, on the right wall of southernmost building, a strange poster [ parchment-shaped ] is glued. It says: “This place is created by one outcast enchanter who calls himself and the other who will inhabit this place the Order of the Sages”
Creature Statistics:
Level : 6
Attack : ~16
Defence : ~16
Hit Points : ~70 HP
Abilities:
The scribe : they cast a random 1-3 level spell on the enemy target [ from damaging ones to curses ]
Casts Teleport
the sages : sage cannot attack normally [ unless they retaliate ]. instead, their attack is magic arrow. the damage is based on the spell power of the hero [ 5*spell power of the hero*amount of sages ]
Necromancer
Storyline:
Necromancers were always roaming the lands of Erathia with their ultimate powers. But a new branch of necromancers soon came into existence. Nobody could withstand the power of the new branch. This new branch was formed of occultists [ archmagi branch ] that worshipped the grim reaper [ instead of devil ]. They destroyed everything in their path. After they killed somebody, they collected the bones of the victim to form necromancers’ necklaces and to gain the power to control the dead.
These wicked creatures weren’t beings of the dead once, though. As I said they were living creatures [ apparently, they did not want that ], but couldn’t kill themselves. They were perfect spies for the undead.
However, they were soon found out. The archmagi decided to expel them from the council and made them move to Necropolis where they seem to belong always.
So the undead decided to recruit the occultists. They asked vampires to turn the necromancers into beings of the dead. The mission was completed.
Thus, a new branch of necromancers was born. They had were similar to undead, but they had their own minds. They weren’t controlled by any force, only the everlasting thirst for blood…

Drain Life : They drain life when they attack [ range or melee; if you ask me how do they drain, I’d simply answer - the red orb at the top sends a harmful ray at the enemy target that damages it and drains the blood from the wounds ]
Seer
Storyline:
Well, the story of the seers is pretty simple. Actually, seers are simply monks that spy the necros for Castle. They infiltrated their ranks in order to find out what are their current plans. For many years, they are inside.
Seers are always hooded so as not to reveal that they are living things and work for the enemies of the undead and demons. They even mastered the powers of dark in order to achieve this.
But these creatures aren’t special after all, since their main task is to guard the outer side of Necropolis. It is a boring and dull work, but sometimes they get special tasks and that’s when the spies go back to their original home. They reveal the plans to the high council of the town and then go back to fulfil their mission. Sometimes, they even have to destroy, just in order to achieve peace in future.

Wow, this is a really nice thread. Great work with the revival!
If only I was motivated to make more, and I hadn't exhausted most of my new ideas, I could.
But this is a good reference, I think I'll bookmark it.
Cool units too, I especially like the lich warrior, perhaps it could be a third upgrade to the Skeletal Warrior.

hey, those creatures are wonderful!
how can we make them? Can we do it in this site?
I think werewolf is good idea! it's a combination of minotaur and wolf raider. It has feet & head of wolf (taken from wolf raider), with torso and arms of minotaur (without any weapons). + 50% more damage against vampires and vampire lords.
Has someone else made it yet?

Dears, noticed Regnus Khan had ever posted an imagined creature - the Ki Rin
This creature was actually one of the sacred guardian of the mysterious eastern lands. The creature served in ancient tales as 'the guardian of the Order'. It has the head of a dragon,tail of a lion, hooves of an ox, antlers of a deer and the dragon scales over the body.
May I also take this chance to introduct the real look of this sacred creature - the Kylin (or Kirin)

It seems you cannot link images from Yahoo Photos... Try using [url] instead, or perhaps another image hosting site such as Photobucket.
