EPL 2005/2006

thread to dicuss the english premier league season 05/06

last years results were chelsea winning with arsenal and then man u. everton was 4th and liverpool 5th

so what will happen this season? will liverpool show thier ability and challenge or will chelseas bank account show on the pitch? has the loss of viera killed the french link at arsenal? can everton show that last season wasnt a fluke?

so discuss the results and lets also make a game of it.

everyone guesses the final table from 1-20. the person that gets the most teams in the right spot wins. extra points if u get top 5 correct and bottom 5 correct. yall have to the end of this month to get guesses in

The Table

Team Pld Pts
Charlton 1 3
West Ham 1 3
Arsenal 1 3
Man Utd 1 3
Tottenham 1 3
Chelsea 1 3
Aston Villa 1 1
Bolton 1 1
Birmingham 1 1
Fulham 1 1
Liverpool 1 1
Man City 1 1
M'brough 1 1
West Brom 1 1
Wigan 1 0
Blackburn 1 0
Sunderland 1 0
Everton 1 0
Newcastle 1 0
Portsmouth 1 0

Round 1

Everton 0 v 2 Man Utd
A Villa 2 v 2 Bolton
Fulham 0 v 0 Birm'ham
Man City 0 v 0 W.B.A.
Portsm'h 0 v 2 Tot'ham
Sun'land 1 v 3 Charlton
West Ham 3 v 1 Blackb'n
M'brough 0 v 0 Liv'pool

Arsenal 2 v 0 N'castle
Wigan 0 v 1 Chelsea

so lets discuss the big games, arsenal v newcastle and everton v man u.

i do apologize if there are local derbys cause i only now of a few rivalries so tell me if there is a big one

so any comments on the big games?

That's the thread for the world cup in 2002.
But too bad(or is it good?) that the thread starter isnt around here anymore.
anyway, just about right for a new thread on football! But to guess the 20 positions would be hard. Is it until the end of this month only?

Predictions for league standings:

1 Chelsea (actually some people believe that if u win the charity shield you can't win the fa cup. The history for the past nine years or so have proven it)
2 Liverpool(Rise, Phoneix, and walllk oonn!)
3 Man U(Ahead of Arsenal cause gunners w/o Viera?)
4 Arsenal(Still a force to be reckoned with)
5 Tottenham(I can't believe it when I heard they got edgar davids!)
6 Everton(Just go UEFA cup, will ya?)
7 Middlesbrough(good team)
8 Bolton(Maybe newcastle here?)
9 Newcastle(Maybe should be up there a little.8th I think)
10 Aston Villa(I don't know who should be here)
11 Man City(I don't know who should be here)
12 Blackburn(I don't know who should be here)
13 Fulham(I don't know who should be here)

(this is a headache now)

takes a break will continue later on.
