Yeah, Carlton Draught makes great ads, I can't remember seeing a bad Carlton Draught ad on TV....

I want the TV stations to start showing the carlton draught ad with the canoe again. The keep showing the one they made before it with the horses, though.

my friend told me of this Carlton Draught ad he saw that is meant to be an older one
what happens is a guy enters a bar or something and gets out a keg of Carlton Draught or something. then he pours his friend a glass and the friend really likes the beer so he says "oh gimme 5 man". as he says this he sticks out his hand. but then the guy who poured him the beer says "no mate, one at a time"
just thought i would share

I don't remember that one, but I remember the one with Jimeoin (the irish comedian) talking about the pronunciation of Carlton Draught and how to order one at the bar....

Yeah, if you go to the Carlton Draught website, they tell you what the big metal thing is...
I tried to find the canoe ad (its actually a kayak in the ad), but I couldn't find it...

New VB ad..
VB Orchestra
I went to work for a Melbourne advertising agency GPY&R for work experience who did the Carlton Draught, VB and Cougar (as well as others) ads, at the same time they were developing this one for VB.
My job was to empty the stubbies so that they could be filled to varying degrees for this ad!
Fair to say that the whole agency pitched in to 'help' empty the stubbies
That was only in september so I guess they made this pretty quickly 
It's all real as well they had to hire this Russian conductor to compose it lol.

Damn awesome advertisement.
But id bet anything(well something. Maybe a yellow star) they just faked blowing into the bottles while music was playing in the background.

I'll take that bet.
They had to hire the Victorian Symphony Orchestra and a conductor to compose the music, and had to fill the bottles exactly to produce the right sound.
It's for real.
Would have been easier just to have them all banging and blowing on mute and just play the theme song but they didn't
