Spider queen, cool...  But this Grove Kepper is the best I think.
P.S. It's Spider from Diablo II, Vlaad. btw you played this game?

Yeah, but obviously I can't remember all creatures. Never finished it, though...
I agree the Keeper is the best, but the society of the Drow (Dark Elves) is usually associated with spiders (search for Salvatore's books online).
These two creatures are somewhat opposite - the former is a being from the forest, the latter from the underground... ? Any suggestions? So far the color of the skin is the only thing they would have in common.

i'll take that as 'not bad', because i think i made the legs much better now, well, at least they look really good to me. it still fits in two squares, here,
yes, still no head, i'm trying to make a good one. i'll post it, when i got a better head and a staff  .
btw, did you know, Spider Queen's race is called Drider? Dark Elves are not the only ones who has spider bodied creatures.

Where does "Drider" come from, though? I came across that name in Salvatore's book about the Dark Elves...
I agree with BJ: it is great, but don't forget the three other legs.
She would look better with a head, too.

She looks okay...but I preferred the Medusa body and head. Or at least the Medusa body.

Looks cool, but if I were you I'd use the kind of dark elves used in the Might and Magic series (MM8). Brown skin and white hair.

It's PERFECT! The spider body is excellent... Would it be hard to animate, though? I guess you could just move legs up and down and try to make it look real creepy.
I don't know about others, but in my opinion the naga part is abolutely gorgeous... even the colors match.
Speaking of which... In fantasy books, pictures and games, the Drow usually have dark skin, but the color actually goes from purple to green, so... I'd stick with this version.
What about the staff? Would she have ranged attack, too?
