Always one RMG template in HOMM3 ?

Hi to all,
Is there a way to set the RMG to generate every time only one template for XL map, for exmaple - Dragons or Ring, so that I won't create 20 maps to get the prefered template.
Thanks.

Yes there is. Take the original rmg.txt (if u donīt have it, download it here ) and delete all other templates but the one u want to have. You have to keep all lines between the template name (from the template u want to keep) till the next template name. Now save this file as rmg.txt in your DATA directory. Now every random u create will be based on that single template, as long as your settings fit the template restrictions that is. To play other templates again, just move this rmg.txt to a different folder and u r fine again.

Angelito, I have used your post as quotes in a read me file and have included the rmg.txt in a zip package at:

http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/bytebanditmaps6/

I have done this for those who do not frequent the forums at all. This way, one or two or even more people can have the opportunity to select the random map of their choice too. Your post made it easy even for someone like me to understand. :-) I hope this is okay by you.
