Yes, I've seen. Still in the Beta stage and I guess you have to purchase it to play it from what I understand. Pity.

Myself, I have'nt heard of anyone playing it. I don't know of anyone willing to shell out money to play an add on.

Hello all!
I am the participant of the REKVIZIT group.
Unfortunately, my knowledge of English, as well yours of Russian, gives obstacles in our discussion. I use the help of my friends and translation software.
Now there is some light on essence of the project.
The idea of REKVIZIT, from the beginning, was opposite to WoG.
We have decided to refuse a principle of selective rules - rules are fixed.
The main accent is put on the balance of the game.
We added plenty of new global systems to the game as well, which has made it much more complex and difficult.
As a whole, the game is little similar to standart Heroes.
As for the commercial profit - it has already been said, that we keep all intellectual rights of the previous developers - we require their Add-ons for the installation of our game - and we do not distribute their files.
According to the legislation of our country, it not is infringements of copyrights.
Unfortunately, we have only Russian distribution kit of game.
If someone has opportunity and wish to help with translation, we are glad to cooperate. The only thing is, there should be a serious person, ready to finish their work.
Fully functional beta version of our Add-on is expected in 2 months.

According Russian laws if you do not have a permission from the author of anything to make anauthorized modifications, it is illegal.
You do not have WoG team permission to modify executable files (exe or dll). All you are allowed to do is to modify scripts and/or replace resources. And by the way to make even these things you need a permission from UBI (that you do not have I suppose).
Note that you COULD destribute your project on the same basis as WoG (free download) and even in this case it is illegal though "no profit - no prison". But as soon as you sell your project, wait for a policeman knocking at your door.

and may I also add a quote from the HoMM3 license agreement valid in ALL countries to every person that decided to install Heroes III:
Customer shall not adapt or otherwise modify, create any derivative work, or decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to derive any source code from, the Software Product (or any portion thereof) except and only to the extent that, notwithstanding such limitation, said activity is expressly permitted by applicable law.

The same thing everybody says, but they don't hear at all! By the way, REMEDY is not a member of REKVIZIT - he's its 'leader'. Actually 'emperor' would be the right word...

You Can ignore me but what I saw in REKVIZIT was MY first patch and I really didn't gave permission to sell it..Nobody even asked me...I didn't even say that you can USE it in Rekvizit...

Well at first:
As a Bigjocker told - you use his patch... dont you think that you have to ask him first to take his permission?
At second:
EVEN IF you sell only rekvizit files the rekvizit is still add-on to H3 SOD with installed WOG... if you want to make add-on to H3 its ok only if you dont take cash for this (like wog team)... I saw on your website that you use ERMs - The ERM is a "language" made by Slava... and the last thing - you say that you sell ONLY Rekvizit files... Well - I DONT Believe that you ain't use modified H3WOG.exe or even erm scripts or even defmaker or even.... well I can write here 100000 examples...
Third thing:
If you take money for someone's work I think it's illegal... To have a legal possibility to sell Rekvizit you should Write H3 Source Code from the Begin and start to sell it before 3DO
It is end of my pesimistic post with poor english :]

In my country it is lawful
it is a point -
and if would be and not lawful - that all the same the project would exist and developed.
The main thing, that we create unique game, which balance very thin, in this plan WoG us has lagged behind on 5 generations  .
For Heroes as a whole - and methods of this development of the present fan should not excite the main development - except for that we sell game not from commercial benefit -
and for an establishment of validity - who works - that eats.

Probably, you do not have not enough intelligence for understanding of simple true are our problems - that we do the player as we distribute also what problems to themselves we take. Concerning to schedules from WarCraft - we in credits it have specified - besides - in an Internet such huge quantity of projects which use this to the schedule - that it is possible to pack prison of the average size - so, that is not necessary for demagogy!
Still time I shall repeat - for present fan Heroes the fact of promotion of game - and for developers WoG - envy and natural discrimination of a product which is much better WoG is important.
