Some suggestions

I´ve just installed WoG this weekend, and it seems to work well, and I really like it. However, I have a few suggestions for enhancements:

- The Map editor doesn´t really work as well as the one for SOD. There are no help-texts for the new objects and cratures identifying them, and the new creatures cannot be put into garrison, events and Pandoras box!

- Please add a 9th player so all towns can play at the same game!

- The arrow tower experience is a good idea, but too drastically as implemented. In large maps it could take several months before you could reach a certain castle making it almost impossible to conquer because of the towers. I suggest:

a) damage from towers increase by 100% after a successful sige defence, but only with 100% per MONTH without battles.

Changing map editor is impossible because we haven't got source code.
Arrow towers experience should depend on map size e.g.
S, M without underground - 100% per week
M with underground - 100% per 2 weeks
L - 100% per 3 weeks
XL - 100% per month

We thought this was impossible to change without source code, but recently a new WoG Team member has figured out how to do it and a patch is available for adding creatures etc. The help text is being worked on but isn't ready yet. (For now, you can find it in WoG Map Archives yahoo group at the bottom of the Files section.)

I'm pretty sure this is impossible, at least without source code.

I quite like the way it is now but I've seen others who have also felt it was a bit too much (or too fast). Perhaps Slava can make it user-adjustable at some point.

H3WMapEd patch needs CRTRAIT0.txt and ZEOBJTS.txt files. I play with Acid's New Upgrades patch. What I must do to install H3WMapEd patch and use New Upgrades? AFAIR I downloaded patch for map editor without any files to replace (only .exe installer) and it worked.

I just tested it and I found no conflict so far. The 'New Upgrades' patch doesn't use any ZEOBJTS.txt file, and although it uses CRTRAITS.txt and ZCRTRAIT.txt files, it does NOT use CRTRAIT0.txt, and I can't see any effect that file has on the actual game - the new monsters still have their right parameters, names and descriptions, so I guess the CRTRAIT0.txt file is for the map editor only.

Just remember that in the map editor

when you place: ---------- you really get in the game:

earth messangers --------- mineral elementals
water messangers --------- ancient basilisks
fire messangers ---------- blood minotaurs
air messangers ----------- electricity elementals
lava sharpshooters ------- medusa empresses
arctic sharpshooters ----- efreet rajahs

About the name for the level 8 creatures:

In Christian mythology the angel hierachy has other divine creatures above "Arch Angel", like "Cherubs" and "Seraphs" that would fit instead of "Supreme Arch Angel" Have you guys in WoG-team considered those names of this unit?
