A very unique view of the orcs; shame there aren't more creatures in the line up (as opposed to orc units). Also not too keen on turtle.
Your effort is clearly very large, please forgive me for skipping a lot (70 factions to grade...)

I´m also working my through from Z to A  As for the rating here goes:
Race: 7 (I´m sorry I´m unable to give you more for a race description full of life and flavor. But it is too long! It should be shorter and more focused.)
History: 6 (Same thing here - do we need to know about the shipwreck laws to understand this faction? Is it important that a single minotaur decides to stay?)
Creatures: 8 (Very original creatures, great descriptions)
Balance: 6 (Your creatures are overall very good balanced, but your hero skill is WAY overpowered (ignore 30% of damage, +3 to morale cumulative with leadership))
Originality: 10 (this is were your town truly shine! I love the work you have put into descriptions of culture, building style and others)
Overall: 37 / 50

The orcish race is very well described. It shows everything it has to show and it’s dressed in nice details. In my opinion, there’s nothing missing. The history is also very well described. You created some awesome units and the balance is quite good. But maybe your hero is a bit too strong. A good point is that all of your units are orcs and not some of your units. In this way, there’s a real union. All things considered, you have created a wonderful town.
TOTAL: 46/50

Creatures(4 +5 )=9 I like the docked ship. 1, 2,3 & 6 are too similar though
Balance(4+ 4)=8

Balance (are the special skills inventive [1-5] + Does it have a variety of flyers, shooters, walkers, spell-casters [1-5]
Originality (all the originality scores added up and divided by two. This means that creativity counts twice. [1-10])

Race: (I dislike 8th dragon god in Ashan- world of seven dragon gods (YSD), also it is weird view of orcs- I can't imagine literate & humanitary orcs & all this stuff with vulcanos)
History: (seems allright, anyway I'm affraid that eruption can't cause a storm- I personally think that it was Sylath (air dragon) intervention)
Creatures: (too much orcs & this turtle)
Balance:
Originality: (nothing special for me)
Total: (I'm not rating, cause I don't mean to lower the rates in this last minutes, but I can't stand your version of orcs, this is a technically pretty good town, expect too long descriptions, but I really don't like your Ideas especially 8th dragon.

Very thorough description that is interesting to read. All other contestants should aim for this level of detail.
History: 8
Excellent start, but modern ages could do with more eventfulness.
Fit into HOMM5 universe, but it could be developed further.
Creatures: 8
Very good detailed descriptions.
Level 6 creature makes the ranks too similar, somehow it needs more variety.
The biting turtle with fast reflexes is a bit questionable.
Balance: 6
Racial skills with ignoring damage is too overpowered.
Units and their special abilities are overpowered.
Unit costs, speed and lack of magic defence are very unbalanced.
Originality: 9
Very well crafted race, quite original within the limits of what's possible for orcs.
Some very original special abilities.
Judge Rating: 41
I don't really have a liking for orcs, but reading this entry was very captivating and really changed my opinion about them.
This is a trully excellent entry, by improving the creatures and balance it will shine.

I wanted to respond to this. Has anyone ever seen an actual Snapping Turtle ? I have at least and believe me, those buggers are lightning fast biters and can bite of fingers. Everything that's dangled in front of their heads is bit at. The larger Aligator Snapping Turtle is equaly fast and are known to be able to bite of hands and feet. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alligator_Snapping_Turtle For more info.
Now my Warturtle is even bigger version.
Anyway, I've tried to improve my balance, but I would be verry happy with some advice and suggestions. I've also changed my level 6 creature a bit to make it a bit diferent from the rest.
I've added several new items in the history and added more info in the description and on some units.
I would realy like some suggestions and/or comments before the Nival Deadline. So, if you see something, do not hestitate and tell me about it.
As of this moment I have entered my town in the Nival contest.

This town is not such bad idea. Just not sure I can imagine orc marines (orc and uniform ) and the city on map. In my imagination orcs live as barbarians on wasteland etc. not on volcanic islands. Know what I mean? I think it just would be too radical change about the orcs. But some ideas are good
