Stuff to do with gaming: 35
-Creature lineup 2/10
-Mechanics 14/25

very boring creature lineup, something i have been playing for very long, im afraid, save the two new creatures (2)

pretty balanced out town, but very similiar to old school dungeon playstyle, except reliance on minotaur, which is so powerful, has been removed. too bad the style of playing is rather boring, relying purely on brute strength and almost zero support units. (18)
Lack versatility (-3)
Lack stats (-1)

mechanics are very important to me, how versatile your town can be played, espacially with the hero skills, it will also be included in mechanics. i LOVE to see stats, as i will be able to do calculations that will pretty much show me how much dmg a troop can deal, etc.

Stuff to do with history/story etc: 25
-History 7/10
-How your creatures are being gathered into the town 3/10
-other additional stuff 4/5

history quite well explained, although too short and lack depth. (7)

creatures and history very much do not have a link, and the whole town itself does not seem a likely civilization (3)

rather average description. (3)
explanation of creatures (+1)

history and stuff, the usual. im an avid reader, so here my rating would be pretty strict.

Appeal: 15
-Appeal to female players 0/5
-General appeal 2/5
-Personal bias 0/5

not appealing. (0)

generally an ok town, but i doubt that people will play back the same town..same creatures and all, with everything around changing. (2)

i dont like it (0)

im aware of homm5 going to be a sink or swim game, hence appeal plays a big part in my rating too. ive noticed not many female players play homm, due to not liking many towns, i would like the town to attract more female players too; both for the players and the money to save HoMM.

Originality: 4/20
-Based on how much cliche there is in storyline, how well your idea is portrayed, creature is new, abilities are new and basically about new stuff.

very lacking in originality, not much new stuff implemented.

it pays alot to be original.

Others: 0/5
-This includes other stuff i want to say 5

nothing else.

TOTAL: 36% (18/50)

Asylum
Race( 2+3 )=5
History(1 +3 )= 2(-2 for incompleteness)plus there's already a dungeon themed town.
Creatures(2 +2 )= 4 the creatures are repeats of HOMM3 of course (and as far as internal consistency goes HOMM 3 lineups had virtually none)
Balance(2 +4 )=6
Originality=4

(minus one for no flag)
Total Score= 20

How I graded these:
Race (Originality [1-5]+Compatibility with HOMM5 universe[1-5])
History (How interesting is it to me [1-5] +Compatibility with HOMM5 universe [1-5])
Creatures (Originality [1-5] +Internal Consistency [1-5])
Balance  (are the special skills inventive [1-5] + Does it have a variety of flyers, shooters, walkers, spell-casters [1-5]
Originality (all the originality scores added up and divided by two.  This means that creativity counts twice. [1-10])

32 to go

Race: 10
History: 3
Creatures: 7
Balance: 9
Originality: 5
Overall: 34
Comments: This town is indeed one of the best Dungeon-type philosophies since the original Warlock in Heroes I. The race is very well structured, embodying the mentality of classic Warlock/Dungeon/Asylum towns. However, as with all re-makes, there is some form of re-using older creations, and much of the creature line-up is subject to this. Although you have balanced it very nicely and given apt and at times new and interesting abilities, 5/7 levels have creatures from the Heroes III Dungeon town. The lack of History also hurts the town, as we are given no impetus to follow the town’s story or heroes.
