The End of the Zone
At precisely 6:08 pm pacific standard time I disconnected from the internet and, when I immediately tried to reconnect, I was told by the zone server that its heroes 3 room no longer existed. There were 7 people left in the room when i was there...they probably allowed the people in there to stay as long as they wanted ...but no one could get back in.....Its dead fred. Long live gamespy ..long live heroes 5..whatever that means.

You have to sign in on MSn Gaming zone like usual.
When done, put this link in your browser end press enter:
http://classic.zone.msn.com/asp/roomlist.asp?game=zcls|dplay
And then u will be in the lobby of Heroes 3 again..
I am currently there..

i stand corrected...the room itself is not dead...merely the link to the room. Homm3 is looking like Lazerus.

I got to Zone via regular favorites link I had for some months now.
First guided me to enter my mail, then automatically went to games 'lobby' where I could pick Heroes.

Well here are the recent numbers of games played on ToH:
Homm4: 3-4 games/day average
Homm3: 12 games/day average
So even with the zone issues, there is significant homm3 gaming going on.
But compared to exactly 1 year ago:
Homm4: 12 games/day average
Homm3: 20 games/day average
Edit: compared to exactly 6 years ago:
Homm3: 68 games/day average

I never tought I'd see this.. im on the lobby now thanx to the posts you guys made.. and I'm all alone by myself. Gosh.. its spooky..
I remember the days... actually the nights (*my time*) when there was no room to host a game and we were forced to play by TCP lol. ... God.. Times DID changed...
PS: can anyone gimme exactlly the steps I need to creat account and connect to GAYspy?
seems like there's our future now.

Ok as of march first i woke up..tried to log into the zone using the link angelito posted here. and homm3 was no longer a listed option in the "backdoor menu". Is the zones Homm3 room now officially dead? or is there some other trick im unaware of?
