Not all games are like that. And those that shouldn't work, work but very slow. but the most annoying thing are crashes so i don't mind they are slow (unless they are very slow and laggy)

open beta single player run almost perfect on my computer... except acadamy town is laggy
my pc is
1 ghz
1 gb of ram
and my video card i fx 52000 (128 mb)
so yeah I'm guessing that the requirements will lower when the original version of HoMM V will come out...

Same card, you win in ram, me in processor.

2g Celeron
512mb ram
fx5200

So, think I should be ok?

Tried that stolen alpha, beta, whatever that was...on adventurers map it wasn't laggy, but in battle it was iirc. Also getting in and out of town was quite long.

Well my conclusion is that it will have(H5) big requirements for the video card (full directx9c).Cards older than 2 years mostly don't haven't full directx9c abilities.(mine too MX GF4 128) The other requirements are normal in my opinion.

The min. requirments will be very high. Players are expected to own a Pentium IV 2.2 Ghz proccesor, a Gforce FX 5200 video card (recomended 5600), 512 mg of ram (recomended 1024) a good quality sound card, 1.5 Giga of free space, and some other expensive stuff.
Lets put it that way: I have an old Pentium III 744 Mhz proccesor,  a good suond card, 256 ram, a Gforce FX 5200 and enough free hard drive space, but even the beta worked hell slowly on my PC, and that's not being online!
So unless you have a brand new Pentium IV don't get close to the game!

Don't worry raven, you got an ass kicking computer and almost anything will work well on such a machine. If I were you, I wouldn't even worry about such games as Halo II or DOOM III working on my PC, not to mention HOMM V and ofcourse the beta.

the only think that maybe you can worry a little not much is the integrated video... but the chip is very nice... buying a nice videocard will give you a pro PC system
