What languages you people speak in/wrote? (fantasy ones?)
After some threads about languages - here is my ... bout languages
I know english, russian (not so good) and my native is bulgarian.
Never learnt any Tolkein languages, but anyone here may knew them...
Lastly i was trying to understand chinese - but only how to write it - not how to pronounce it... Japanese seems to be fun... still very very beginner...
This is what i know in japanese:

Hmm I speak English only and I know some Italian but not enough to have a conversation, I could cuss someone out in Italian.
what does that mean in Japaneese?

The only real languages that I speak are English and a little Spanish, and a unreal language that I speak is Pig Latin, and no it doesn't mean that I speak to pigs.

ehm i can speak dutch,english,little french,little german,chinese,and know 2 latin words hehe  ,hmm.. thats all i think

I am fluent in American, Canadian, English, Australian, New Zealand, & Spanglish(a language where you talk to non-english speakers loudly and slowly because everyone understands english if you speak it loud and slow.)

Well, as the old joke goes:
Q: Someone who speaks two languages is bilingual, three languages is trilingual. So what do you call someone who only speaks one language?
A: An American!
I am a yanqui-go-home. So I, as well, only speak the languages that oldtimer speaks. Although I also speak British.

Actually, to pull an American is when someone doesn't understand your English so you pronounce it LOUDER and s-l-o-w-e-r.

For the record I speak German, and am going to take Japanese this year in college.

Let's get started:
Spoken languages: Greek (native), Vlachika (native), English (fluently), and a bit of: French, German, Japanese and Italian...
Fantasy languages: Sindarin (not that good though) and Quenya (only bits)...
also tried Celtic but I soon gave up due to lack of time...

Hmm. I speak only in Bulgarian. In English I mostly write. I have studied Spanish for seven years and don't remember much, these days I'm studying French (and I continue studying English as well). I know some words in Chinese and the letters for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 but I can't write them here. Now I'll write some Chinese words (maybe the transcription is not correct):
Shu=Yes ("u" in all cases is pronounced as in "but")
Pooshu=No ("oo" is pronounced as in "book")
Siesini=Thank you ("i" is pronounced as in "pick")
Neehao=Hello ("ee" is pronounced as in "knee")
Dzaytsien=Goodbye (no problems here?)
Wo sian i mienbao=I want a bread
I think this is enough. And here is one word in Bulgarian (if you don't know it):
Ìàëêèÿ (Malkia)=The small
That's it! ARIGATO! (that was in Japanese)

Danish (native), German and English. Also understand Swedish and Norwegian... (we Scandinavians are very close)

French is my mother tongue, and I manage to write some English once in a while. Speaking it is another problem though...

English (native), Spanish (in my 4th year of study), Japanese (not much, cuz the techer taught us the same things year after year with maybe 10% new material.), and Latin (took a condensed year, which equals three weeks, seven hours a day, five days a week.).
I also know some fragments of French and Serbo-Croatian. I took French at camp, and my friend Stefan speaks fluent Serbo-Croatian. His great-uncle was Yugoslav ambassador to China.

Well, I speak Albanian (native), English (fluent, used to work for daily mail), Serbo-Croatian (fluent), Macedonian and Bulgarian (understand them both, not the best in speaking), French (used to learn it in high school, just the basics) and Spanish (I understand it but cannot speak).
