There are many good things about HOMM3, and I want to know what you think they are.
Is it the graphics, the look, the gampelay, the layout, the sound and music, what?
Tell us what you think and why.

The Graphics
The sound
The music
The Gameplay
The Layout
The Look of the Game
The Battles
The Units and Towns
The whole game is good

The whole game got my vote. I wish I could have voted more than once. The fact that H3 is still played even though it's an old game is the gameplay. As long as the gameplay is good the graphics really don't matter. H4 removed the combat grid which was a clear mistake . After all it's a turn based strategy game. Combat grid is more important than fancy 3d animations.
BTW I've always thought that the music of the MM series gave the games a great atmosphere.

Heroes 3 will always be considered one the world's top, classic games by me.
The reason for this is simple: It is good in all aspects. There are almost no bad points about it. Graphical design and style is good, graphical quality is good, sound is good, gameplay is good, and so on.

For me, it's all good. I just bought HoMM3 Complete yesterday and was blown away by the game. I had owned it back in '99, but when my computer died in 2001 I stopped playing. I was computerless until 2005 and have been looking for the game. I've been playing alot of Civ IV and a little of GalCiv II, and have been thinking about HoMM5, but when I ran into HoMM3 Complete, I jumped on it. Man am I glad I did. The gameplay is so sweet. Time just flies by. I like the sound/music. I think that they really help suck me in. The graphics are solid, but I wouldn't call them glamorous. Frankly, I don't need 'sexy' graphics. I'd still play Civ IV if it had these graphics, but maybe not GalCiv II . Another key feature of HoMM3 is it's buggless play. I wish we could take this kind of gameplay for granted.
