The way of the Dwarf
Over HOMM Series Dwarves have been popular within the Sorceress towns and within the different names of the towns.
They have been popular, and which one do you think has the best dwarf unit in it.
HOMM1, HOMM2, HOMM3, HOMM4.

All these "the way of..." threads got me concludin' that the H4 creatures look the coolest.

Maybe it's the nostalgia factor, but I like the HoMM 2 Dwarf/Battle Dwarf.

HoMM 2's one definitely looks best. The HoMM three ones always looked crap and the HoMM 4 one is a prime example of awful the 3d modelling New World churned out for much of HoMM 4.

I like the ones from III, but i think that all of them could use bigger beards... They aren't dwarfish enough.

It's close one between H2 and H3 but ultimately I choose H2 since they're more geared for war and angrier + axes are cooler than hammer.
