Yet another naga town :P

In times of boredom, one can never be safe from sudden heroes town ideas which lead to strengthening of uselles topics number on various forums ... this time its about before mentioned naga town...

Nothing to write home about, lineup is as follows:

Level 1:
Couatl (Small flyer): - (Takes 50% damage from melee, 150% from ranged)
Venerable COuatl: -  (Takes 50% damage from melee, 150% from ranged)

ATT: 2, DEF: 2, DMG: 1-2, HP: 7, SPEED: 6, INIT: 10, SHOTS: 0, MANA: 0, GROWTH: 15

Chameo (lizardman apereance but smaller frame): - (Poison Attack)
Chameo Witch: - (Poison Attack; Mana Drain, activated ability once per combat, drains 100% mana from target creature(harm
touch-like))

ATT: 3, DEF: 5, DMG: 2-3, HP: 12, SPEED: 5, INIT: 10, SHOTS: 0, MANA: 0, GROWTH: 12

naga myrmidon is gonna get you sued by blizzard. serpent fly and cuoatl are two similiar to be included in the same town. maybe you could add the basilisk or medusa.

It's not realy a town now is it. It's more of a combination of creatures that are accociated with swamps. It's nice you've come up with the stats, but try to turn it into a single race, with sime history and descriptions. With some work it could become realy great.

This idea is weak! Why do you start a thread like this? The creatures are like picked at random, you have no heroes or racial skills, no town description or buildings and no history or a race description! Seems you havent been working on it more than some minutes.

Why the Bash?  I think it is pretty good.

But yeah.. with H5, should also need to consider Hero/Faction's special ablity, and not just the creatures.  

And seem like there are alot of flyer in this line up... guess you are thinking more of aggressive fly in type of strategy?

Yeah, Sindbad, don't be so harsh. We know that it isn't developed, but this is only the beginning. If he wishes, he can think up history, raicla skills, heroes, anything. But The creatures is always the beginnng, i think.

Not that I want to spoil the fun, I just told my oppinion and suggested whats missing.
And why have you thought only of the creature line up?
And to comment it: the abilities arent very original or interesting to me, and they really seem to not fit to each other... Like what binds them to one faction? Explain...

PS: ignore me if I seem to be offensive, but Im trying to help to make a *perfect* naga town. And if you want to see a good one, see Alcs thread, or in my thread will later be one.

Every idea has to start somewhere, it's infeasible to suggest everything will appear at once and be written at once. And often the creature list is where things start. For me the above list sounds good as a starter, and I look forward to anything else that might come.

I agree that Serpent Fly and Couatl are too similar. I like beholder at level 7 (something a bit different) but am struggling to picture the graphics.

To simplify things around here, i will add my thoughts to "the perfect naga" thread, and all further comments should go there.... thank you..

and about that beholder, i was thinkking something like DND beholder, HUGE floating eyeballs .... c ya at the perfect naga thread
