fighting against summon elementals spell
Hi all!
I would like to hear a few ideas/advices abut how to fight against a hero with summon elemental spell, who has twice my spellpoints (dungeon town).
I managed to devastate his whole army and lost the rest of mine trying to kill his earth elementals. Every next fight, I kill all of his army (armagedon) but can't kill his hero becouse he starts summoning earth elementals.
Please share your ideas and experiences...

I am confused - are you talking about HOMM IV (You cannot kill hero in HOMM III and he is defeated when you kill last stack of his army)?
If yes, please move this topic to heroes 4 and I will give you some tips

If you kill all of his original army - retreat or surrender and he'll die.

Actually if you retreat he can buy his hero back in tavern. If one hero is killed and the other only had elementals left they will both disapear.

You could use Orb of Inhibition to prevent all use of magic. If you play better or anything like that it would be a great advantage

Are you sure? So, if I retreat, he will also have his hero back in his tavern? Is this a bug inside a bug?

Call it what you want, but you will get your hero back if the opponent retreats when you only have elementals left. I remember a game vs Lkru, he couldnt handle my elementals so he just retreated (clever move), I got my hero back but lost since he had stolen my town and I had no new army to buy.
In another game I killed all remaining troops with arma which made both our heroes disapear.

Maybe u try to attack him as blue on day 7? Then surrender when he only has elementals left. You can buy your hero same day, but on his turn, a new week started. So his hero should be gone..
For sure Red Orb or Recanters Cloak would also help.
