uhm...
i didn't know the answer... there are quite a few latteral problems that have to do with packages.. and just as many that have to do with severed limbs... ...some of them even made it to the original thread ...which is why i said it, didn't figure you'd go for one of them

Was it legal & important stuff? (licenses, etc.)
Was it related to her or to someone she knows?
Was the text threatening for her?
Did she scream because she could not see what was on the paper anymore?

Does it have to do anything with electricity? (or just with Lights)
Could she see with the lights off?
If not, does it have to do with the fact that she couldn't see anymore?
Was the Light a 'normal' yellow/white light? (not necessarly from a bulb, but NOT a red one or something like that)

Ok this is a wild guess - the paper she has received is from some authority changing death sentence for a prisoner, but when the light flicks, she know he's been electricuted (spelling?)?

A bit later, the waiter serves the meal. The man takes 1 bite, goes out of the restaurant, pukes....and dies.
