oi, gnolls have a seperate town!!!, if you want to include gnolls, then use that topic.
werewolves probably have an ability like th ghosts in H2, ie, if they kill X number of units, they get raised as X number of werewolves.

The whole concepts of lycanthropes and werewolfes living in caves seems pretty stupid too me. What's the point of having a were-creature in a cave, where the moon never shines?

Caves? How is saing that? I work for werewolf race not for cave race? Wild beast, which live in the dark woods, not in cave!

I think you should gather all the ideas, chose what you want to do and edit with them the first post in the thread.
I'm talking about: Town name, race, creatures and their info, history and things like that.
Just to make the thread into one orgenized idea.

Lethe | river of forgetfulness
Phlegethon | river of fire
Styx | river of hate
Hades was the ruler of the Greek Underworld. In mythology, he was the brother of Zeus and Poseidon, and therefore from the first generation of Olympian gods. And the manner in which Hades became the lord of the shadowy Underworld is worth mentioning.
According to the myth, the three sons of Kronos and Rhea - Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades - each drew lots to determine which part of the world they would rule. Zeus and Poseidon received the sky and the seas respectively, and Hades was therefore left with the Underworld.
We should try to find a use of this info, somehow?

by the way, the movie Hercules got it wrong (like so many disney movies), Hades was quite content with his lot as he could control were people went after they died. it was infact posidon that was annoyed as he was the oldest and, ipso facto, next inline to rule the sky, but he lost to his youngest brother, Zeus, who, not only ruled the sky, but became king of the gods to cap it all off!!!!

Alternative Heroes was just a project we had on the drawing board here. I might actually go send it to Nival, but if you ask me, if it ever happens, it'll be in Heroes 6.

Arrgh! This is not justice! Someone stole Ted's alternative heroes idea, and maked to Advenced Classes , and that is not good. And my orc faction is (I fear will not be in the Heroes.
