I'm still figuring... which tourney to open first? Speedeamon or Hero? (And no, there is no modification to the tourneys, they should remain as is, original). Maybe open both?
Personally I'll be participating in both... but I can guarantee you there won't be that much activity in them.

Fire Clans UP! If you wait for the massive activity you want, we will never get to do clans. There are plenty of active players to support at least a dozen 3 person clans

Players team up in groups of 4, forming their own clans, with specialization in one or more towns. Lasts the entire season. Thats the layout
And if (And no, there is no modification to the tourneys, they should remain as is, original).

clans??? you're kidding me. There will be two active clans, with 4 games by the end of january. Believe me, I put a lot of work into creating that homm5 clans, and want it to be used. But I'm realistic about things...

with a desync fixing patch , i think we could be ready for clans..trust me. ppl are almost scared about this issue and their option is more likely to start and finish one session the whole game or drop it, the annoying bug almost cancelled the idea of play-save-load... for now , the games are too selective just because of this reason.."u had troubles.... hmmmm... i might try with xxxx , he never experienced problems..." etc. the activity is like 20% of its potential right now.
i hope we will get soon a present.

Clans would be nice
Bad thing is .. seems that less than 4-6 players playing daily  So not sure if there would be activity
Btw.. what kind of maps do clans play? Special ones?? Sounds really interesting, first time in toh so better ask

I have to admit activity does seem a little low for clans, but the opening of clans would help that out...it forces people to play hehe. How many clans would be necessary to open it? I suggest once we know that number we post on this forum who has enough members to start, we might be surprised how many can form...or not lol.
One more suggestion might be to eliminate any cash prizes until next season if activity picks up.

I would vote for clans. But not with 4 members. 3 clan members would be just fine.
And the clans rules are nice. Special maps for clans are a very good idea.A very big map with counties controlled by different clans. Also why cant we add one new rule? Like 2 vs 2 game or 3 vs 3 maximum, but not necessarily.
Its just an idea. Being new in ToH, just don't take me too seriously, but can think about it...

Man... this feels like the homm2 days when there was only 10-20 dedicated players...
So, if I were to open one of these, which one then? Clans, Speed, or Hero?
Seems like clans would be most popular -- I would set it up for 3 player clans like you've suggested.
Why not open all 3 tourneys? Because most of you don't have time to play that many games, and in the end, all the subtourneys would suffer. Look at the activity of warlords... it should be self-explanatory.

I will try all of them especially CLANS ,but as you supposed, for example, I'd be able to play in weekends only, the most time.
I suppose the most players, veterans will do the same.
The important thing is the 'lobby' we could do in the UBI lobby

I would love the Hero tourney, Speed and Clan in that order. I have never participated in a clan tourney so I don`t know much about it, but a Hero tourney would suit me perfect I tend to do most of the stuff with one hero anyway and it sould spped up the games without making it "gambling".
I think patch 2.1 should come out soon though...

Sadly, I agree. Not all tournaments can be opened. I would have to vote for clans of the three, its an ongoing tournament that lasts the entire season for whoever wants to participate. The others seem to be elimination where each participant may only play one game.
