I got a silly question concerning the desync.... Has anyone considered virus and anti spyware programs that run in the background, maybe sometimes snagging some files as they come in as a tracking file etc and once you lose to many of them then the data dont sync up etc. Maybe that is just a silly suggestion, but I have ONLY ever had desync twice and both times was on earlier versions of heroes Never on 1.4 or 2.0 ..... and I always turn my antispyware and virus agents off before I start a Heroes game.
It came to me as a possibility when i ran my spyware program and it flagged 4-5 heroes files as spyware and when I deleted them my heroes wouldnt work or load...So I reinstalled game and patches etc and ran spyware again and they were back... So for some reason spyware programs are seeing some of the heroes files as spyware. So would stand to reason that maybe some of the files get removed and/or deleted during game and transfers etc. Just a thought.
