another (yes, another) naga faction- the palace
the Palace
(not for the ICTC)
aka: the naga
associated colours: greens, blues, golds.
worship: Shalassa, the dragon of water. the naga worship her as their mentor, who shows them ways of thought.
core philosophy: the world has many paths, we follow one.
motto: you go your way, i'll go mine, we will probably meet again, who knows.
country: lost palaedria
home terrian: tropical, carribean shoreline.
capital city: Shathens, the city of a thousand streets.
symbols:
the naga are the elder race of Shalassa, the dragon of water. they're way of life is based around following a path, be it a path of a warrior, a sage, a traveller, or anything, they dedicate themselves to that path with heart and soul. they are serpentine creatures, the upper portion of their body is of a human, whilst the bottom has a snakes tail.
the current rulling of the naga is as follows:
its a matriarch. however, many male naga follow paths of there own.
its ruler is Queen Syclla, a naga whose "Laughter is like a gushing stream and whose wrath is like a storm"
along with Queen Syclla, there is a senate, who advise her about subjects. these are made up of generals, seers and many others.
the other two factions are the sisterhood of the snake and Syclla's handmadiens. the sisterhood, who is made up of medusa (which in the naga tongue means pesimist, or realist) are the more warlike, and interwine their hair with snakes so that they may be blessed by the water dragon. Syclla's handmadiens, made up of sirens (which means naive, or bloody stupid to the medusas) don't fight, as they believe that it is something the males do, and they are above that.
every naga follows her or his own way. the most popular is the way of the warrior or the way of the seer. medusas are heavily warrior leinant.
the servants of the naga include the froglike gamabanti. Palaedria is littered with the Gamabanti, however, Gamabanti warriors are rare, as they are a largely peaceful race who don't attack unless attacked. the nagas respect this, as it is their way of life.
Palaedria is also home to the giant tortorises. these lumbering sentient creatures ponder the mysteries of the universe, often coming to the conclusion that it has something to do with waves, tiny objects, the cosmic egg and the theory of ethorpy. the naga respect these creatures as well, as they share alot in common, as the tortorises believe in the following of one path.
the final inhabitant of Palaedria is the mighty blue dragons. these serpentine creatures move through the water, their shiny scales creating dancing reflections underneath the waters surface. the naga worship these creatures as the children of their god, Shalassa.

lvl4> medusa swordswoman-> medusa priestess of blades
lvl5> seer -> farseer
lvl6> war turtle -> fortress tortiose
lvl7> blue dragon -> azure dragon

Just one thing:
This forum is about stories or ICTC contest.
This thread should be in the Altar.
I suggest to you to ask of a moderator to pass it to there.
Because, also if it was okay, this forum is half-dead.
About this town:
It has some nice creatures, which are the shining star of this faction.  (4-words creature's name can't be )
The motto is very cute. I like it. And it's fits the charactor, as much as I understood were this faction goes.
The problom is that every thing else wasn't unique or special.
People allready did it before.
