Ohh... Major thread resurrection, well anyway...
I got kinda addicted to this adventurequest game, I now have a lvl 36 adventurer at lvl 5 mage class. The problem is, every time I log into the game the "standard" equipment keeps getting equipped on me (The cloth robes and wooden staff). This bothers me since it can't be sold, and if the enemy gets to land the first blow on me my armor grants just about no protection at all! Every time I watch my character at the Character page it has the same equippment too 
All the adventurequest forums suck so could someone please help me? Pretty please...?
Edit: Can't you at least say: "Sorry Adrius I don't know, but if I did, I would sure tell you buddy!" Or something?

Quest items disappear when you log out. Bought items stay forever.

Sorry I wasn't clear enough, what I meant was that they don't stay equipped.

So what's the problem?
Get into an easy fight (or even a training) and change you inventory there.

I think you have to become a guardian to keep your items equipped.
But Dragonfable is much better than AQ.

i stopped playing those online RPGs/MMORPGs where you have to pay cash to get full access to the game. here's some of my expirience. first, there was adventure quest, good game, good stuff. but when i got to lvl 40, the server wouldn't let me in with an excuse of too many players on, but if i make a new account, after a minute, i could log onto it but not my lvl 40 one, so i stopped playing it. then there was runescape, great game, great concept. but again, when i got to level 40, i felt the need for more, so i got a membership. played it all the was until lvl 73 AKA RuneScape was ruining my life and i was paying for nothing, so i stopped playing and gave my account to my friend.
and one more thing adressed to the creator of this thread, actually have some expirience/knowledge about online games/MMORPGs when making a thread with some good games(in your opinion) if you only know a pair and just type up the rest which appear in HCs banner, because then i sort of defeats the whole purpose of the thread when you want to introduce people to great games. i don't wana brag, but i probably have played the most online mmorpgs/rpgs than anyone on this forum, so i can probably give you guys some really great ones.
