Unit/Hero Creator (My little wish)
I don't want another faction or unit or anything like that... All I want is this:
A simple map editor plugin that would allow anyone to make custom heroes, units, skins and stats. Thats my little wish...

thats quite a good image, and as baklava says "it seems possible", and i agree, a new faction isnt that nessicary

i would like both, personally, some new factions and a heroes creator. this would make heroes alot more interesting, if you could personalise the heroes in question!.

Do you want to make some new 3D models for the "custom heroes"? That would be awesome, I know how to work in various 3D modellers.. but I can't convert it into H5 format. Man this will be cool

I have some scripts for custom heroes, but if you want to play with your
custom heroes you need to edit the map scripts...

An awesome thing would be if the hero creator isn't used only in RMG but in the beginning of the game as well. You could have an option not to select a pre-created hero but to create your own (something like in AoW). It would be divided in three sections - choosing the class, choosing the specialty (there would be more specialties of course, some could be used by all classes and some not), and of course personalising (choosing the portrait, name and perhaps a 3D model for your hero).

I would like to know: Can you just edit heroes or can you create new ones, too (via scripting/modding in a custom map)? Same question about creatures..
About the idea Relentless, it really looks nice. Is this meant to be a program made by one of us or would you just like to have it from nival?

Well, if someone other than nival can do it... do it!
All I want is a simple way of making custom heroes and units, importing icons and skins and putting them in a map. These things should be in the game... I really like baklava's idea too.
This whole feature is one of those single things that should be in the game becouse:
a) it ain't so hard to make it.
b) it's something players would like
c) the game is called "HEROES of Might&Magic". What's the point of playing with default heroes, if you can make your own.
d) making a campain or a map or anything would be much easier if you can have your own heroes/creatures. Making a good map is harder because you are limited to the default heroes units and spells.
e) You can use custom skins/ikons/models/skills/spells/everything in Warcraft 3 and Morrowind. A game should be... expandable. After the players get sick of the boring little campains, the duels and the heroes, they should be able to just create/play something they like...

I really thought Heroes III was a complete package. If Heroes III had this, Wow! I would love to see something like this in Heroes V or any Heroes game. C'est fantastique!
