Necropolis creatures review + tips

Maybe it is banal, but I want to create creatures review for my favourite town - Necropolis

Lv. 1 Skeleton

The skels are weeak with capital W - only 1 Attack, 1-1 demage, 4 HP and 5 Speed... but very good initiative (10) only the Peasant is weaker in the stats, but the key here is not the stats the skels are many (like the "weak with W, many with M ), but actually, you need to upg them vere early (on day 2 or 3 even the first day).

Lv. 1 Upg. Skeleton Archer

The upgraded Skeleton, and better than the it:

1. +1 Max. Demage
2. +1 HP
3. It become Shooter!
4. Well -1 Speed, but who cares?

Actually the Skeleton Archers are maybe the best shooters in the game (Behind the titans) and one of the best Lv 1 upg. creatures, and again the key here in not the stats it is the numbers.

It is very important to protect your skels use the zombies and the vampires(the vampires only only it the beginning):

This can stop:

1. Large creatures
2. Slow creature

Lv. 2 Zombie

Weak, weak, weak 1 attack 2 defence, 1-2 demage, 6 initiative and 4 speed (). The weakest Lv. 2 creature in the game the low initiative and speed meke it not workable.

The creatures is usable in the beginning (only some days) and you can use it to protect your skels.

Lv. 2 Upg. Plague Zombies

And again the weakest upg. in the game:

+1 Attack
+1 Initiative
new 2-3 demage
and Weakening Strike - "With each successful attack, the attacked enemy's Attack and Defense properties are reduced by 2 units (cannot get below zero)"

Still not workable use it to protect your skels.

And just for example:

Obsidian Gargoyle (Lv. 2 Upg in Academy):

3 Attack
5 Defence
1 - 2 Demage
10 Initiative
7 Speed
20 HP

Vs. The Plague Zombie:

2 Attack
2 Defence
2 - 3 Demage
7 Initiative
4 Speed
17 HP

Lv. 3 Ghost

Good Initiative, not bad attack and defence stats, not very bad speed and good enough HP! This is the first "not bad" creature in Necsropolis!

But the best thing here is the Incorporeal (This creature is incorporeal so any non-magical attack against it has only 50% chance of inflicting damage. There can be at most 3 hits/misses in a row on all Incorporeal stacks, after which the fourth try will be forced to miss (after 3 hits) or hit (after 3 misses). This counter is global (for all stacks), not tied to each stack) Ghosts are one of the best creatures inthe ability to survive, against shooters and realy strong creatures like Lv. 7's.

Lv. 3 Upg. Spectre

4 - 6 Demage
19 HP and Mana Drain - When attacking enemy units, this creature can drain their mana and use it to restore its own health, or even to resurrect some killed creatures.Mana drained is equal to the number of Spectres in the stack, capped to the actual Mana amount of the target. Additionally, as many Spectres are resurrected as the Mana drained (ie. Life drained is up to 19*Mana drained)

+ Incorporeal = good combination!

You can use them (The Spectres) for casters, attacking casters with Spectres is almost always good idea:

1. They (the casters) can't shoot (almost all casters are shooters)
2. The casters are week in mele (almost all casters are shooters)
3. If some of the Spectre die, they can Drain his (caster's) mana!

Lv. 4 Vampire

No Enemy Retaliation and Life Drain very good combination, the first strong creatures in Necropolis!

Good HP (30) and Initiative not bad in attack and defence. Good to take out creatures between Lv. 1 and 5, but you realy need to upg. the vampires:

Lv. 4 Upg. Vampire Lord

+ 50% to attack and defence + 5 HP + 1 Speed + Teleport ability - one of the best creatures in Heroes 5 you can easily take out shooters, or creatures between Lv. 1 and 5.

The fastes creatures in Necropolis! The Teleport ability hepl during siege or attack vs large creatures, you can easily reach all enemies shooters.

The combination "No Enemy Retaliation", "Life Drain" + "Teleport" make the Vampire Lord killing machine and realy good offensive creature!

Lv. 5 Lich

The highst attack and defence for Lv. 5 (non-upg.) creature in the game is here, good Initiative (for shooter), not bad in HP, poor speed (only 3).

The the Death Cloud ability is good, very good against all races (without Necropolis)

Lv. 5 Upg. Archlich

Very, very, very good in attack, defence and demage, poor speed, not so great HP (for upg. Lv.5 creature), and +1 shot (well this can help too).
Another killing machine in the necro's army! The Archliches become Casters, with spells:

- Weakness (Expert Mastery)
- Desay (Advanced Mastery)
- Suffering (Advanced Mastery)

and 16 Mana! Good for the tactics:

1. Mark of the Necromanser on the weekest enemy creature!
2. Desay (Archliches) on the same creature!

Lv. 6 Wight

Not good, not bad...(haw we say in Bulgaria: Gore-dolu stava ) good attack and defence poor speed and not so great HP, no interesting abilities.

The Wight is very offensive creature but weak for Lv. 6 and weak vs all creatures above Lv. 5

Lv. 6 Upg. Wraith

Better, than the Wight:

+ 1 Attack and 2 Defence, +5 HP and Demage (now 25 - 30) and finally 1 ability:

Harm Touch - "When this creature attacks, it always kills one unit in any enemy detachment. It also dispells all positive magical effects currently affecting the aim (activated ability)."

Harm Touch can be used (best) vs Lv. 7 or other Lv. 6 creatures, very good vs Phenixs When the Wight can't deal enough demage to kill 1 creature is good to use the
Harm Touch ability, 1 Wight can kill 2 even 3 Titans or Hydras!

Lv. 7 Bone Dragon

The weakest Lv. 7 creature in the game...poor attack, defence, demage, HP, speed.....everything no cool abilities (only Unead, Flyer and Large Creature), even 2400 Gold and 1 Mercury is very high cost for this poor creatures.

Lv. 6 Upg. Spectral Dragon

+ 3 Attack, +10 min. and 5 max. demage (25 - 35) + 1 speed and +10 HP + Cursing Attack ability (During attack a curse is put on the target, reducing the damage it can inflict. With each following attack the curse is renewed)...
But still very weak...

Nice and colorful, I like it!

One thing, though: VAmps ain't much of a killing machine with poor damage and average survivability, they simply can't survive a bit of focus..

I saw that one coming too!
Nothing really new. About motn I would use it on a unit the skellie archers are about to shoot. The plague from archliches is good but you can get more mana from a well placed blow either from skellies or wraiths especially against a low defense creature. Or just place the mark on your skellies since the opponent loves to target them with spells or ranged.
Doesn't matter anymore with the changes in necromancy. The value of other units will shift and skeleton archer stacks will decrease in numbers.

Edit:
You seem to like mods! Reminds me I should try to find some, the recent format made me forget about them.

Wow! That is wonderful. As Doomforge said: Colourful.
(Hard to focus the text with so many pretty pictures! )
I just took a quick look, and everything seems good. I'll check closely the whole text later.
Well done!

Not many quotes because there isn't much information on the text Sorry but there are hardly any tips, and about the creatures you mainly tell their abilities...
