An Honor Issue
I just got this email, with a save attached, from bad_boxa, with this email:
HI Ves,
I have problem with player nevermindspy.
He don't want finish games with me. Evry game with this person he saved game and after He say me "i don't know for what u talking"
Tell me now Ves it's honorable player or not ?
Send u save from last and i will waiting u honorable answer with not discrimination!

So I've replied this way (and cc'd nevermind as well):
Thing is Alex, your timing is horrible. I'm on a laptop in hawaii, i have no homm here installed to look at the save.
But of course, whenever there is an angry email from you or another person.. the only honorable way to solve it according to that person is to go his way. If not, then it isn't honorable lol. You've got to stop using that stupid word everytime something doesn't go your way, as a key to getting what you want. I hope your english is good enough for you to understand what I'm implying.
I don't know you any better than nevermindspy, so how am I to confirm/prove one side or the other?
I'm assuming that you think you were winning this game, and so would like to get credit. So, answer me this, how much credit should I give you, how much penalty to nevermind? Should I deduct honor points from nevermind?
Because there is no honor council, I am not going to jump on this decision, I will post this on the messageboard as well. If nevermind has been dishonorable about this then he gets penalty, but this email isn't enough for me to jump on an attack on nevermind.

So my question is this, I know even right now, there are many who will try to escape saved games (even I have a save -- where I felt I was in the better position to win -- with a high-ranker who I will not mention here) -- how goes to prove it, and what sort of credit/penalty should be given?
In the end, I remember the days where I would get sick and tired of people thinking I was biased towards one or the other. Nevermind and Boxa I don't know well enough, though both have been on ToH for a long while.

Usually when more then one complain about the same person.
I was going to mention hiring a honourable HC member since you are usually very busy Rob.
Of the many games Idan had & without many complaints it is hard to prove.
I also know Boxa enough to not complain orless it is needed.
Might be beat just to let it go as a warning.
Or you can wait to see the saves after.
Either way many hates to lose so they do what i like to call The Atilla Rumble.

Here's what happend in REAL LIFE
I really don't know what's boxa's problem.
I played with boxa 3 times ...
First time we played , SUPRISNGLY in homm5 we had a desync , boxa appertnly still not sure what that is anyway i think it was save greyed or something don't remmeber how how noticed i just remmeber i found it pretty late so VERY annoying ofcourse to play a long game and get desync but when your opponent does speak english so well and your forced to explain it to him when he doesn't know what is it , is VERY ANNOYING also and he somehow accusing YOU (AS IF I'M TO BLAME WITH NIVAL'S INCOMPETENT)
Second game same issue (i think i found it pretty early though was few weeks back).
Third game which ticked boxa out for some hallucinatory reason was like this , I ask boxa wanna play? he says hmmz i can play only 1.5 hours and after that can continue only in 3 hours do you want to start a game and play like this? i say ok.
We start a game on dead mans lake he take inferno and deleb (i was kind enough to allow that..) i take dungeon with Yrwanna (on day 1 i switched hero to Yrbeth since she got mass slow early and thats HUGE also her skill is good against inferno cuz imps will take lotta mana from me.
So anyway as you see my start is good to almost very good then after about a week he says i gtg save so i save game he says i'll be back in 3 hours then we continue , i say "We'll see then".
Meanwhile i watch TV and a basketball game starts
"Maccabi Tel-aviv vs Phanatinaikos" i'm sure that anyone from europe knows what that game means those teams are the last 2 european champions.
Any way here before boxa send me a message player: "hero radoo" ask me if i want to play and i say "NO watching a basketball game". (YOU CAN ASK HIM IF HE REMMEBERS OR HE CAN CHECK HIS MESSAGE HISTORY)
Anyway right after that boxa comes and says : "letz continue".

NOW as you can see boxa is the one acting dishonorable .
BUT i really don't care if u do something to him or not i don't have anything against him i think his lack of english understanding cause him to see things as they not really are Ofcourse thats not justified cursing me but what really hurts me is being falsly accused.
I think that abour 2-3 years of playing for toh without 1 issue playing hunders of players speaks for itself most of them know me and i hope never considered this to be true.

He's accusing me not finished saved when it was same day 3 hours later when i'm around every day he's around too and i think we coulda finish it tommorow,the day after it and ect ect. (Maybe even after that game altough would be pretty late for me and we couldn't finish the game for sure maybe only continue it alittle further.
Also you can check save and see how i was doing VERY GOOD with no reason in the world to not continue.

i wonder all the bulgarians are so gifted? cernobil side effect? or some mega offer of enlargment stuff?
i dont want to interfere, i dont know much about nevermind and the only thing that reminds me of boxa it was an "unusual" 18-0 record in heroes4, which i dont want to comment now, its part of the past.
so there are too few clues to jump to any conclusion.
the truth is out there! 
anyway, as a general advice, i think it'd better try to behave, act mature. i chose this game over any other because of quality players who are part of this community.
better less people, but with more brain and educated.
don't try to ruin this pls.

LOOOOL Boxa is hilarious.
I know those BG's english are not the best.
Saints english is the best compared to Boxa & Rok Buls.
Rok Buls being far the worst.
Thier anger is matched similar Rok Buls anger worst then both combined.
The BG are easily offended in this game.
I remember a Q to Boxa & he ran away from the convo yrs ago.
I had a game with Rok bul.
A sub tourney with a time schedule.
I couldnt show up at a time because I had to work.
I tried to explain & he swore me out.
Swore at me.
Said i had no honour
said i didnt want to play etc.
I told him to take the win & kiss my butt.
I didnt want to deal with that crap.
Boxa is a great player.
Few problems in the past.
Bad temper but i know Boxa enough that he would not waste his time with this orless it was a reason.

Hi all,
When i played i met NevermindSpy few times and had some good games with him. Otherwise i know Bad_Boxa IRL and i can tell you - he isnt a person who will whinning without e reason. Dunno what is the case exactly, but as i know Boxa - he wont be so angry without ANY reason.

HMM misunderstanding can arise everywhere....
May be Boxa so happy, so see no dessinchro with other players ( I give up play with Karim and newermindspy after 2 dessynchro) and it is suspicious for him.
I got interesting situation. Don't remeber game for clans or for warlords, but i not checking options when start, and found that i dwarf + dynamic turns, then demend recreate (Use runes on dynamic is almost impossible, i ok with it if not dwarf)
So he will angry on me, until i explain my reasons.
Yeah, seems misunderstunding can easily appeared.
For example i HATE dsco so much, so even can report lose in my anger if opponent say about something suspicious or annoing to replay...
Seems on Tournament like Caesar i demand "ally watcher" (i know about modified maps with 3-rd player with Accademy + grail in Homm3 in closed dungeon, seems here need 2 ally players) to prove my innocense.  Seems it can be another topic, what proves willbe enough if you disconnect.

I m not sure about the situation, but no one is right to run from saved games. Running from saved game = losing. The both sides must accept decision.
Ves, maybe it is time to nominate a honour consul. I think it must be some your personal friend. You must have good relationship with him.

It's true ... I did ask him for game , and he was watching baseball !
And also I think boxxa jumped to conclusion too fast ... He should have been more patient . But that can happen . My advice , just continue the game and forget all this !

I don't mind continuing that game as long as boxa will apologize to me maybe some bulgarian can explain to him in bulgrarian the errors of his way ...
I have no problem forgiving someone that makes mistakes.

1. I agree with saint and can tell - boxa do not doing something widouth a reason! so, maybe it`s a bad english maybe not. i meet many times nevermid in zone and had many good games with him. in beginig i had same problems with him (like boxa now), but somehow I (and nevermidspy) desided in the past. so, maybe boxa dont have enought patient, but maybe hav. so, i dont know enought about this problem, but i can tall only:
2. vesuvius - you make same mistake what we made in the past - when we had a problem with someone or something we hurry up to populaised this problem here ... (in public place like this or zone chat) this is not a wright way to permit the problem.

3. and finaly acualis - if my memory dont make mistake, we had only one game for one subtorunament, and if i remember well - for map masters (random maps) or somethink like this
we had a meeting for it, and we had only 1-2 or max 3 days to finish it. I offer you very early to start a game - maybe 1 or 2 weeks before... but you pick this day. So no problem with this - i told you only to have a big chanse after this date (your date) wich you pick for this game (you had minimum 10 days before) but i mean i had not time for play this game after your date. with another words - i had before more than 1 week to play, but last 2-3 days before latest date i will cannot play becouse i had another engagements!!! and you last my free day~!!! lol this mean only one - we can finish!!!
and IM sory acu bacu - but you ask me for on the end of first week!!! what engagement can be this?! 30-1h for game?!
Im sorry but many here can agree with me!

homm5 is a much smaller community now, with the 40 or so core addicts playing 90% of the games. So its better to share something like this than me making 'personal decisions' behind closed doors. And this is the first 'honor situation' presented to me since the season started. Notice no hall of shamers yet. Which is a good thing.
Fake reporters, etc... are easy to deal with and doesn't require the community's input, but something like this did. Now at least I got Nevermindspys' reply on this.

I've been through something similar. And I know that no one will take adv from this. Everyone will loose, nevermind and boxa, like I did. They wont play each other, never again, what is awful. Later they will regret it.
Temper in this game is the most important thing. You want to play this game? then be prepare to loose. This is what this game can offer you. But the winning will be great deal really...
I dont want to interfere, but some players should learn a lesson, to be swear n at or....to swear at, but assume the consequences then...

I dont know who is right and who not from Boxa and Nevermind...and dont care for this. What i want is all to keep good language and not offence other. I'm from Bulgaria and what Boxa say is shame for me....hope he will apologise for it.
