Need Help with DEF Files.
I made a complete DEF file of a new creature I want to have in the game. I want it to replace Master Geinie, nothing else. Can anybody help me? I have no idea where too start.

I made a guide, was about to post it, and than my internet got screwed. I'll try to remake it tommorow, but I probably won't have time. You just need to make one frame after another. Thn you need to put them together usig any animation program.

How did you do storm genie, you didnt draw animations by yourself.
Where u found the animations

does anyone know what i'm doing wrong here? i try to switch a DEF in the .LOD and i try h3sprite.exe @ CRADVNTR.DEF
does anyone know what i'm doing wrong? and if so could they write out how i'm supposed to input it correctly

But are you sure your animation and def are right?animation must be 256 colours with 10 first special.You may not change them.but def must be created only on creature wizard or it will not work.if it is write I will tell you

God, I've havnt been on in a while. I can tell this by the fact that when I looked at my profile, it said I was 13. I'm almost 15 now. God, time flys by, don't you agree?

Well if the DEF is normall then:
you must download h3bitmap.exe and h3sprite.exe
find somewere an empty batch file.
place them all (including def) into the DATA folder in your main WoG directory.
name of your DEF must be the creature you want to replace defs name.
press right button on batch file -> edit
write thre:
H3sprite @def_name.def
del def_name.def
Close it SAVE the changes and run it.If the def file will dissapear then everything had worked.

Offtop: How to make a empty *.bat file.
1. Open notepad.
2. Click "Save file as..."
3. Save empty txt file as f.e. replace.txt
4. Close notepad.
5. Change extension replace.txt -> replace.bat
6. Edit 'bat' file like 'txt' file in notepad (key F4 in total commander)

Thanks! but one problem: I accidently deleted the first animation, and now every time I finish the Creature Wizard and click Create def File, the program stops at 70-95% and closes. Any ideas?

1.not rite animation..something with frames..
2.hm...I dont know what can be second  maybe your def makker is broken..

Well I can't make the DEF so if anyone is willing to help I have uploaded a zip file with all of the frames in bmp type and a def file of a normal Genie (I want the def to be exactly like the normal geinie's, just with the frames I made). So if anyone does it, thanks and please send me the new def later.
