The Command and Conquer Thread
Well there are many games, and somw of my favorites are from the Command and Conquer series. Anyone else likes them? I prefer Red Alert and Red Alert 2, and I can't wait for 3.

same hear, i have, the original (very old now), Red alert, Red alert 2*, Yuri's Revenge* and Generals*
*= my favourite + ones i completed on Hardest level 5 times (yes, i'm that good )

Beating CnC (any of those) on hardest isn't really hard .
But beating 7 hardest cpus:s in skirmish is hard.
Done that in all of them again and again and again...
Others are great but "Age of Generals" just sucks .
at least for me
Didn't like it.
Tiberian Dawn still the one.
It's the hardest one too.
By the way EA really should have named Tiberium wars Tiberian Twilight instead.
Can't wait for number 3.

Especially in Yuri's revenge if there are many Yuri's 'cause his discs are way too powerful.
But if you have played the same setup in StarCraft's melees then these feel easy. I don't think you can win 1 vs 7 in it. In CnC it's very rare but with luck it's possible.
Except in Tiberian Sun and Red Alert where they are easy although everyone shoots their superweapons at you even if they fight at each other (you can't set alliances in these) when at tech level 10.

I've played red alert 2, a little bit of tiberium sun
and alot of generals(precious dragon tanks).
I can't wait for 3 with that alien race, that looks really cool.

Red Alert. One of my favourite games... Although I'm not too good at it I just LOVE the music... Whenever I turn on the main menu in RA2 it warms my heart Soviet metal...

The music in Cnc games truly is great.
Except in generals...
maybe thats why I didn't like it

Just to revive this because of the many C&C fans, I just got my copy of Command&Conquer: The First Decade!!! Although it doesn't have C&C3, it has C&C, Red Alert+2 Expansions, Tiberian Sun+Firsestorm, Red Alert 2+Yuri's Revenge, C&C Renegade, and C&C Generals+Zero Hour. All these game are really fun (and got really good ratings from critics as well- Red Alert (the first one) is cosidered the best Strategy game of all times by Gamespot!).
So just talk about everything that is related to C&C...

Only played RA 2 from the series, (with Yuri's revenge, but I did not like yuri's forces, they seemed too powerful to me) and I liked it very much. I was a Libia and Iraq lover (specials  ), and enjoyed kirovs much  . I also like france from allied, for the cannon. I was no pro player, but I enjoyed the game much. I even still have it somewhere...

Yuri's Revenge is the best why they just made so many versions of Tiberium sun? Ra was the best game in C&C

Command and Conquers are one of those games what i hate and love at the same time. Good friend of mine is insane C&C player and i have played allmoust every C&C game againts him. I bought Red Alert 2 just because i was tired of losing in the previous games.
Last time we played Generals Zero Hour and i used my old tactic (Build 50 tanks asap and rush attack). Hes defensive player and he was well prepared for this. I supriced him by attacking both sides at same time whit first normal tank waves and second wave Laser tankns. I destroyed everything in his base exept the barracks! He didn't have any power or money suply only some troops. I didn't waste time when i was attacking and i made whole butch of more Laser tanks (if he survive this wave he certainly don't survive the next!) I made second attack whit my tanks (mostly Lasers) and suprice suprice he had few tanks left what destroyed my regular tanks along whit them self. But after this he had insane army of Angry Mob's (that is really the units name) and they destroyed all my Laser Tanks + My (not so well defendet) Base. Hundreds of little soldiers whit AK4 kicked my butt!
I was so close to victory and i blowed it! Thats why i sometimes hate this game. I like to play C&C sometimes still but little less whit my friend. He don't like to play HoMM or Tekkens againts me anymore so we are even so we have something in common.
