I sure wouldn't, maybe if it was my best friend, but if I said that to you on here, I am pretty sure that you wouldn't take it as a joke, well in fact anyone here wouldn't take it as a joke.
So yeah, I do not think that this was needed, and especially to a good moderator, and a friend of mine, so yeah.

Kinda strange, that I got a penalty when I censored my words, and the "idiot" wasn't directed at anyone,. it was an example, yet Impact gets away with calling Alci a douche, he gets no penalty, but I get one.
Very strange indeed.

Well ... It seems the script is not quite capable of separating the use of bad words without any bad intentions from general flaming, but that is of course a mistake. I cannot remove these penalties, since this is not my forum, but I have left a message for Pan to look into it. Don't know whether Val made it that way on purpose, but it seems the wrong call for me ... but it would indeed not be unlike Val's way of thinking. Off late, I have realized that he doesn't always share my points on when to allow bending of rules, and when not to, and he seems to have a tendency for taking the easy way out when it comes to getting the Modding job done. But then, he's not the only one in the team who has that approach to the task I've realized.
