Gameplay Movie
I was fooling around with this program called Fraps www.fraps.com that captures your screen, and I made a small gameplay movie.
The movie is depicturing breaking through devils on Battle for Honor
It's from my recent game vs Karim, inferno vs academy on BfH, it's week 4 and I'm Grok.
The fight lasts 6:40 and it weights 34 MB.

I did this for personal purposes. I had some great end game fights that I wish I have recorded somehow. Now I can  It's better than screenshots I think. Alas, fights vs human opponents usually last way longer than this one, especially when someone is thinking long time. That means bigger files, so they would not be easy to share.
Nevertheless, I think it would be great idea to record movies of end game fights in the finals of tournaments etc etc.
So treat this movie as an experiment and think of potential possibilities

pretty cool, I could theoretically encode these and edit them in windows movie maker, so one cuts out the pausing parts where people are deciding their turn, and it ends up being one action movie...

Heh yeah, I thought about that too, maybe even with some music playing in the background ("eye of the tiger" anyone? ) It's quite some work, but it'd be fun to make. I gotta try that.

If you need any additional info about fraps let me know
I used it to make produce hundreds of boss kill movies and strategy videos for my listening impaired guild members.
I doubt if you got the full version, the shareware trial is not very powerful. The full version comes complete with the video editor, a music splicer, and loads of other features. Its a real cool program when you get into it.

Yes looks very nice
I viewed the you-tube clip you sent me though its abit blurred.
Some clips of risky fights against neutrals would be educational as well
I lost so many fights against neutrals in my last few games hehe these would be good for reference

Yes, I tried youtube too, but it's too blured, as you said. The numbers can't be read.

That was really kewl.....
But nearly impossible to actually see what and how you did the battle....since you raced thru the battle clicking like a mad man.
It appeared to me as if, you have fought that stack of devils 2 dozen times with that same army and knew exactly what moves you wanted to make etc...
I wouldnt mind seeing more....is there a way to run the movie at 1/2 speed

the fact that amazed me the most outta this movie is how the King of suicides himself managed to cheat death once again (as i understood from the chat). is like the vampire who finally got acustomed with the light

I just watched the clip
I hope interesting battles like arteman breaking hourglass week 3, or nevermind taking on emeralds with 7 imps can be filmed as well

I tried to capture one yesterday. And when i stopped the program, entire computer jammed to process the clip 
30 seconds was all that was allowed right ? Unless purchase the software.
30 seconds is already 681 mb

You need to compress the video to wma format sq79. If you don't have proper program use Camtasia Studio 4 it's best screen capture program.

Very nice!
was hard to read text but the basic flow of the battle was possible to follow with plenty of pausing and rewinding. I thought you might have a little problem on ur hands when those 20+ Pit fiends were raised but that lucky hit took care of them pretty well

One big request can you actually make 2-3clips for us newbies of your first 2weeks of creeping with different races i'd very much like to see that to learn this and that.Thanks in advance.

I'd love to, but those clips take some time to set up and compress so for now let's just wait for the replay feature that's supposed to come with the next patch. Maybe that'll allow to share battle experience more easily.

well I've just tested the new "moviemaker" who is built in the 1.5 version of the game..... and the moviefiles is'nt big at all! wow...
I recorded a battle who last for about 1 min.... filesize 300k
so now I'm looking forward to the 2.2 patch!!!
