well, the homm universe is not in the past, medieval times or even ancient. it's a fantasy unvierse BASED on mythological creatures and medieval times. it's a whole new thing.
Now to get back to the post. I think it's the funniest and most outrageous idea that I've seen for some time... and I've seen....
Starcraft? in Heroes?
Why not Fallout...or C&C?
Just joking politely, so no offense.
I like to compare this : What if George Lucas sat on his chair some time ago, and came up with the idea of introducing the Nazgul and the fellowship in the Star wars universe or other things that don't match. It would be out of place. I seriously don't want to offend you in any way (and I know I'm repeating myself) but the idea of Starcraft/Quake/anything that has to do with modernism(not to talk about the future) or something belonging to other franchises WILL ruin the Heroes games for ever.
I'm taking this to serious.... funny, but Daystar said it best: NO.
