Don't forget to wrap it up!!!!

Wrapping it all up, what does that mean anyway? Well, for some that means that at the end of their journey they tie the loose ends up. They take the good, bad, and the ugly, placing it gently somewhere for them to digest later. Wrapping things up comes at the end of several things, the end of school, the end of a relationship, the death of a loved one, and sometimes at the end of our own sanity.

So as I was thinking about all the times I should have wrapped things up, but just could not let them go, I wanted to share some of the positive thoughts that I had. I have decided for myself, and these apply to your life as well, that we all have it in us, every one of us. We have it in us to become the best for ourselves and those around us; however it is up to you….

You’re stronger than the load of despair and anger that you may carry with you sometimes.

You’re faster than the one in front of you telling you your not.

You’re wiser than the wise one that points and claims you’re not, for you are wise enough to know not to judge.

You’re braver than the one that stands on the thin rail of life high above us all and chastises those for not being like him.

You’re wealthier than the man that worships his monetary habitat instead of those that he has promised his love to, who he has promised to worship because they are worthy.

You’re freer locked in chains, than the one that claims freedom through infidelity and lies.

You’re more spiritual than the one that holds his man written Bible high, while his molestation of the innocent goes unseen, unpunished by the same people that hold their Bibles up high; even if you never open one or step foot in a church.

You’re the best that you can be when you wakeup in the morning not hating nor despising those that have wronged you, but forgiving them, thanking them for making you stronger and more self reliant.

You’re at your maximum happiness when people smile at you because you smiled first, when even a politician can’t lie to you because he sees the mist of love and understanding floating around you, and when the person that has hurt you the most in life can reach across the lines of pain, grab your hand, and find peace with your forgiveness.

I have decided that even though I’m not even close to accomplishing these, at least I have my map; now all I have to do is follow my ethical, moral, and spiritual guided compass to find my destination, happiness. That about wraps things up for now…

How do we know when our journey here is finished?
If you're still alive, it isn't

I beg to differ. Just because you're alive does not mean you actually do something for the world you live in, or for yourself. It may be that you most likely do not actually appreciate what it is to be alive. There are millions out there who live; and they do just that. Absolutly nothing else.

I could write pages about it but I never did like writing.

there is no point of living if you don't feel alive.

Just think about it.

@ frostwolf

Uhuh, there are people.  I guess it depends on your beliefs as to whether you think we are all here for a purpose or if we are just random conglomerates of genes and cells.

I think we all have lessons to learn, and are also here to help others learn their lessons {even if just by being an Ahole and they need to learn forgiveness blah blah - of course being an ahole is further down the karmic track... anyway }

The point is that if you are still alive, you haven't done all that you should.  Obviously there are people who "just live", are lost.  If they interact with the world or people at all, then they still do make an impact no matter how small and insignificant that may seem.  Perhaps they are there so that people can learn charity, forgiveness, tolerance, understanding.

Who knows - the point is, if you are still alive, it is not too late to make a difference.  It is not too late to find a purpose.  It is not too late to learn and to grow and to become a "better" person.

blah blah

Whenever they said anything about wrapping it up in school, it normally had to do with a condom...

And kookas right IMO, as long as your still alive you can do something.
