A Happy Place
Sometimes
Sometimes life just brings you down.
Sometimes you lose dreams and things just don't work out the way you thought they would.
Sometimes the past slips from your grasp no matter how hard you try to hold on to it.
Sometimes you feel lost and alone.
It is during these sometimes that we find a happy place to reside while we deal.
Where is your Happy Place?
One of mine is on the water. It's a magestic boat loaded with possibilities and fantasies. No matter how rough the sea pummels against its bow, it remains a place of contentment. It is magik...
HC is also sometimes a happy place for me, I thank Val for keeping this happy place alive, uhuh.

Well Val is the admin and all, but without members then I guess this place would not be what it is, obviously, so I guess I thank all members here, cos this place, is my happy place.
Another is at school.
no, not to do work, but because of my friends.
Work is so boring!!

A glade in the mountain forest near my city...
The place rocks. It's totally cut off from the outside world, it's a small clearance with a lot of huge trees covering it from all sides, and even a fell log to sit upon. Not to mention animals everywhere, it's like in the bloody Snowwhite Me and my friend stumbled upon it totally unexpectedly, and were like 'whoa'... The most relaxing place ever (well ok if you can ignore mosquitoes)

I agree with Kooka. I love water. Sailing, especially. It takes my mind off possible worries
Another place is the dojo where I do judo. It's mostly peaceful and quiet and it's the place where I get to exercise the art I love Plus I've got loads of friends there.

I think that this "Happy place" is different, not just for everyone but it's different in dependence of your problems, sadness, boredom, etc.
I like the rain this is my "happy place" (not exactly place but maybe moment?) when outside is rainy it's somehow... it give me a nice relax, I even like to go outside in rainy days without umbrella.
And one of the best things after the rain, is that in many small woods, hills and fields near my small town, you can find mushrooms, they grow tall after the rain. Sometimes I just go there after the rain and mushroom some suillus, agaricus, rovellons, parasol mushrooms. 
Maybe this sounds crazy? Not for me...

I have some happy places as well as moments but they are usually out of reach...Where I live there is only one I guess, the place I used to play basketball which is surrounded by trees but is usually crowded - rare to find myself alone there. A happy place is a quiet place where I can stay and talk with a close freind or a place I feel welcome as hc or ch. Apart from that there are my memories

Hawaii is supposed to be paradise, but living in Honolulu's urban districts kinda deviates from that belief. I'm also a huge fan of pastoral landscapes, relaxing beaches, and breathtaking scenery. Of course, you can't really get that in the city. Everywhere you look, there's traffic, litter, and the occasional slummy housing areas. It's probably better than most other cities, but it's not always easy on the eyes. There are many areas on this island that are very scenic, although I rarely get to see them. The western and northern parts of Oahu have more country and farmland, and long drives down these roads offer quite a bit in itself. They're really nice places if you can find the time to explore and enjoy them.
On the social side of things, nothing beats church on Sundays. My best friends congregate there, and many musical opportunities await me there each week. I derive much enjoyment from being there, doing a variety of things. I can't think of a better place to be on Sunday mornings.

Happy Place.Sometimes it works for some. I guess you need to realise that problems are usually not permanant.
If there is a will there is a way.
Just find what makes you happy.
Somethink of something that makes them happy.
Some take walks & think about solutions.
Some drink the tequilla

I love the city & going out to party.
I love vegas & gambling.
I love the night life.
I understand loving the wilderness & living in solitude.

I guess this can be my happy place at times but when i think about most "nostalgic" place, it has to be near the place i grow up. Haven't lived there in 15 years but i go there every summer at least once. I drive next of our old house looking what has changed over the years, then i go this mountain place whit little laguna on the bottom. That is the place where i can really relax and be happy about my life, no worries just free air and beautiful view.

My Happy place?
Open, grassy plains not too far from the sea shore, with hills and scattered woods around my home and on some of the hills a few trees I can sit under and daydream, write a book. My house should be modern inside but have a fantasy look on the outside, wooden mixed with stones and concrete, lik a castle.

Happy place in mind or IRL?
I have two in my mind, one being in ancient greece. Call me crazy but I kinda like the mythological, romantized and eroticized feeling of it
The other being stretched, grassy hilly plains under a full moon at night, clear stars, and a solid not warm, not cold breeze rustling the grass and the one or two trees around. That would be my heaven.
And a mysterious, comforting tune in the background.

My happy place is more a mental state of mind. Ill try to describe it. Your with your band and suddenly, like a lightning from the sky, You get filled up with a creative energy ! That makes the whole band go crazy with good energy and you make some of the best music ever! And the ideas are just flying in air, lets do this, no this! yes! And you end with the best stuff ever. And you go home happy and thinking: "We Really rock dude" And you feel great.

For me, I just like to go out and take walks - especially by the ponds near my house, we have all sorts of birds that have made homes there, and they are so used to people now that you can go out and walk among them without them scaring off.
days when the weather is bad and I can't go out, I find that just putting on some music and closing my eyes will suffice
Oh, and of course HC can be a pretty happy place sometimes

place in haifa which is called merkaz a karmal,its like ubber haifa,with the center of everything,its the most living place.
the new pub opened recently,its seniour-freshman pub,a very shanty-metalic kind of thingie,and 6 shekels for 1\3 of a beer litar is cheap! the beer rocks,and well,i feel so free there.
