Connnection Problem...
Hello fellow ToH players! I have recently upgraded my internet connection (FiOS) and bought a new computer which is running Vista. The reason I’m telling you this is because I can barely get a game nowadays due to the fact that I cannot connect to other players. It's weird because when my opponent hosts... I cannot see the game, but when I host, they enter and we can't get through Day 1. So far the list of people is Elit, Al Killmore and now AntiStatics. I have even played a game with Mellomir for a few weeks and it seems that we have the same problem with the auto saves. Anyone have any idea what the problem is? Thanks in advance.

I have vista also and have NO problems connecting.... So I am guessing it has nothing to do with your new computer. When you got the new computer did you install the latest Hamachi? If so you need to uninstall it and install the hamachi version 1.0.1.5 Any newer verisons then this are bugged and cause serious connection problems.
See if that helps.

I downgraded my Hamachi to 1.0.1.5 already. I don't think that's the problem. The only person I have been able to finish or even start a game with is Karim...

Using vista is not smart , If you want i can help you much in regard of operating system ..
(How does making heroes run *5 times faster sounds  )

My game already runs 100% perfect, even with Vista But thank you, although I already have several different operating systems on disks by... well you.

I'm begining to think these problems are caused by the patches also.
With elit,cycle i get desync with academy,
With buxyrs, desync with fortress 
If its about frequent d/c, then u can trial hamachi premium for 1 month, i can't start and finish a game with karim until we both used the premium version. A yellow star will appear and will solve the problems for frequent d/c usually.

the only reason Sovetcki can play with me and no one else, is because Im good.
